The Orleans Hotel & Casino

Great experience at The Orleans. Room was pretty comfortable and the views were awesome.

This is my second time booking this hotel because we had so much fun the first time we booked. I booked for 3 people this time, and my mom had a wonderful experience! She was very pleased with how large the room was. She got her own bed, the TV was large, and she had plenty of room to do her activities without bumping into me and my husband. She felt so comfortable. My only issue with the place is not all of them are updated, so the bathroom is a little bit older, but nothing to gripe about. I love the couch by the window. There are few things to do outside the hotel, but you will need to travel at least 10-15 minutes if you want to get to the strip. It is an off-the-strip casino, so account for time it takes for you to get to your destination. Overall, I will always book this place whenever I went to stay in Vegas for cheaper.

The hotel is about a $20 cab or Uber away from the strip and feels a little dated, but that's the only critical bit. The room was clean and spacious, and the linens were clean. The hot water was exceedingly good as well. But the best part is the hotel sending my money back to me when I overpaid upon arrival due to my prepaying online as well.

The customer service is horrible, they lied about a early check in fee, then to find out later that if you check in at the kiosk after 2 they will wave the fee which none of the people at the reception desk told us about ,they just said there is a fee for early check in and that they don't wave the fee., the only ok food was TGIF FRIDAY and Baskin robins ice cream. I will never stay there again

I was showering this afternoon in my hotel room at the Orleans I saw a cockroach on the wall while drying off and quickly grabbed my phone, took a Pic, and then threw a towel on it and squished it. At front desk after I told them, they gave me a perfunctory oh, they'll notify bug control. No apology or nothing. And when I asked if my $45 resort fee could be comped bc of this, the front desk person said I quote "oh, we normally only give discounts if it's more than one bug." And then she told me in an accusing voice I should have notified them earlier in my stay. Like how? I checked in at 1am last night. Also, when I tried checking in at 6pm, they said their 3rd party computer system was down so they couldn't find 3rd party reservations and for me to come back later. I don't recommend staying here.
