The hotel has no restaurant or bar - and no facilities on site for breakfast, which was a BIG disappointment, especially given the lack of them in the local area. The nearest place to eat and drink is the restaurant/café next door, but they were closed on the day we arrived (a Sunday) and not open until Monday morning for breakfast. Nonetheless, the room was very good: clean and large, with the most comfortable bed ever! Ok, there was no aircon, but the fan did a good job. And the price was right.

This hotel feels like it used to cater to business travelers. But it’s seen better days. Huge lobby, and conference area like it’s waiting for a convention to show up. But the rooms have the tiniest bathrooms I have ever seen, and no AC 😞. Also across the street from a vacant business park. not unsafe, but not a pretty neighborhood. All that being said, it came at a great price, so good for one night.

Staff was friendly. The hotel Cafe was good for a quick bite and the staff was cool. There's a mall about a 20 min walk from the hotel. Transportation to the San Sebastián city center was pretty easy. Only complaint was not having AC in the room, but we did have a fan.

We had a great time here. The host was very friendly and supportive. Our room was new and clean with such beautiful view of the mountain. Large bed with soft and comfortable mattress. Their blankets are cool when it's hot and warm when it's cold, even very slight. I was really surprised by that. The bathroom is fully equipped and has a gentle fragrance. We have breakfast and dinner in service, too. The host is actually a good chef.

Not much of a choice in this town and we stopped over to get to tolosa (on hindsight, we should have stayed in tolosa, which is lovely and historic). I am also writing this while staying in a pigeon hole of a hotel room in barc, so txaratel will be amazing. Location wise, is connected as it has a bus stop 50m away to get to san Sebastian or tolosa. The natural beauty is great apart from the whizzing cars. Hotel wise, room is basic - clean, white and no frills. No telephone in the room to call reception. No hair dryer, no electric kettle. We needed to ask for a kettle but the reception refused. Breakfast is through the café at the hotel which you need to pay. This place could do better with a little more amenities. There was quite a.number of guests while we were there. Good for a stopover or 2 nights.
