A really nice place, very sociable and friendly. Definitely finding its feet as a new location but the staff are super welcoming making sure to learn your name before you even get there. If you’re wanting to get to sleep before midnight then definitely bring earplugs!

Room smelled like ****!!! Location was terrible so far from everything !! The hostel never had food ! It was a terrible experience! Wouldn’t recommend to my enemies .

Svar från boendet: Hi there, we are sorry if you felt that your room did not meet the usual high standards we adhere to. We begin our housekeeping schedule at 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. and take turns inspecting the restrooms and rooms. We also encourage other guests to be courteous and considerate to the next user, as it is a shared accommodation. Should our guests require additional touch-ups or to freshen it up, they can approach our team members. However, as of the moment, our security staff work the graveyard shift; we don't have any housekeeping during the said time. We have escalated your feedback to the relevant team, and we will keep this in mind for future improvement. As for the location, we make it transparent in our Ctrip listing regarding the address. We have waterfalls, caves, and beaches in the side of our area; the hostel has plenty of activities for nature lovers, such as hiking and cliff diving. Thank you and safe travels.

I had the best time staying at mad monkey siquijor. Nelson was amazing and took the time to know everyone's name and treated everyone like a true friend. Definitely give this man a raise! He was a whole vibe! The facilities are cleaned daily and all of the staff is helpful making recommendations or helping to arrange transport. Rooms were very spacious with hot water, AC, and privacy curtains. Highly recommend if you're on the island. Shout out to Pablo the accountant too he and all of the staff make this place so special! Thanks again for everything!

Mad monkey is probably the most reliable standard there is when it comes to hostels. You know several things: you’ll always make friends, you’ll always have fun and you’ll always have the opportunity for an adventure! Shout out to Takako who made every evening super fun and memorable 🔥! She deserves a mention😎!
