Quellenhof Luxury Resort Lazise

We were so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We unfortunately only booked 1 night on our way to other destination in Italy, but we will definitely be back. The hotel is beautiful, food really good and there is an overall amazing atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back for a longer stay.

Our family spent 6 days and 5 nights at Quellenhof Lazise over Christmas, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the unforgettable experience at this five-star resort. House & Room: We stayed in a pristine 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with a private pool, hot tub, sauna, and nearby courts for tennis, racquetball, and pickleball. We loved the thoughtful touches like a welcome bottle of champagne, fresh fruit, and daily replenished coffee, tea, and water—so convenient for our family of four. The home’s privacy and alarm system offered peace of mind, and swimming in our private pool under the winter sun (2–8°C) was simply magical. The extra surprise of a Michelin-starred Panettone on Christmas Eve was icing on the cake! Transport & Location: We rented an electric car in Verona, and the resort provided a daily charging option—super handy for our excursions to Verona (only 30 minutes away) and the gorgeous ski resort of Brentenico. We also loved the shuttle service to the local village of Lazise, with its charming Christmas markets and shops. Activities: One highlight was the resort’s e-bike tour led by Thomas, where we explored wine, olive, and apple valleys, stopping at local villages for coffee and shopping. Another favorite was the resort’s daily gym classes—I even learned some Latin dance steps! The spa’s guided sauna sessions and peaceful steam room were perfect for relaxing, and the adult-only area let us parents enjoy thermal pools while our teens had their own fun. Service & Amenities: The staff at Quellenhof were wonderful—from the resort manager spending time with us on Christmas Eve, to Santa Claus’s special visit, to the friendly concierge, drivers, and cleaners. We also enjoyed top-notch massages at the spa and the convenient hair/nail salon for holiday pampering. Every part of the stay felt thoughtfully designed and customer-focused. Restaurant Experience: Food lovers, you’re in for a treat. Alessandro (Manager/Sommelier) and his team patiently guided us through incredible menus, satisfying even the pickiest eaters. The variety of daily dishes—including vegetarian, gluten-free, and kid-friendly options—was fantastic. Every plate was a work of art, and the extensive wine list was expertly curated (my partner is a self-professed wine snob!). Getting to know staff like Carmen, Danilo, and Thomas made our meals memorable. Our only regret is not ending our Italian trip here—the 5-star hotel we stayed at afterward in Venice just didn’t compare. We can’t wait to explore more properties from the same group. If you’re looking for an extraordinary experience, Quellenhof Lazise is it. Grazie for making our Christmas truly unforgettable!

A prestigious resort with a beautiful garden. The size of the resort offers privacy and relaxation. Good location, spacious and beautiful rooms, quality food, good spa. Perfect for those seeking wellness and revitalization during their stay.

We have stayed at Quellenhof in Lazise several times, and each visit has been exceptional. This time, we had a special occasion in mind, as we planned to celebrate my partner’s birthday and our engagement during the same period. Thanks to the incredible support from Front Office Manager Stefan Niederbacher, my engagement became the perfect surprise. He took care of every detail I requested, making the entire experience flawless. It truly couldn’t have been better. Quellenhof Lazise will always be one of our favorite hotels. Every time we visit, we feel like we are being carried on hands, experiencing genuine hospitality at its finest. Stefan Margesin, the host of the property, can truly be proud of such a fantastic team. At the restaurant, we were always warmly welcomed by Tim, who made us feel right at home. We rarely visit the same place twice but after our stay in 2023 we simply had to return in 2024. The Quellenhof Lazise is exceptional. Ideally located just 20 minutes from Verona airport. Brilliant architecture, modern yet elegant. Amazing use of the naturally warmer climate with some parts of the hotel exposed to the outdoor cooling breezes, minimising the use of artificial air-conditioning. Very clever. From the moment you arrive you are warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who really do their very best to care for you. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The cleanliness is of the highest standard. The facilities are exquisite, from the roof-top pool to the large spa area and stunning, crystal clear natural swimming lake (a must-try, even in late September). The highlight is the gastronomy. Evenings are a delight with an extensive six-course dining menu. Each dish superbly presented and some amazing flavours we've never experienced. Breakfast is also a fabulous event with a magnificent choice and unsurpassable quality. We also participated in a wine tasting session run by Jessica, the hotel's highly knowledgable and captivating sommelier. We learned about the great red wine of the region - Valpolicella and later in our stay she introduced us to the amazing white wines of the Lugana area and to the luscious sweet dessert wine - Vin Santo. We will most definitely visit again. Simply first class.

This is our third time at quellenhof lazise and our first time in Bella Bianca a largo suite. The deck gives swimming lake access and a jacuzzi pool so together with the rooms own sauna it’s like our own private spa with cold plunge facilities! As always the food wine service and spa treatments are top quality and the lovely welcome we get from many staff who remember us from last years makes it feel like coming home. I honestly cannot think of a single thing they could improve on .. perfecto.
