Terrace on the banks of the Loire with magnificent views. Home made meals very good value for money. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good choice of wines. excellent for cyclists who visit the banks of the Loire.

Comfortable hotel right on the Velodyssee. Good food. Nice people. Sensible price. Bike storage. Much nicer inside than the exterior would suggest. Well worth stopping. Good patisserie nearby. Cash machine in village.

We're doing le Loire en vélo/Velodyssée and we stopped in this coussy little hôtel/resto. The owner was extra helpfull, the food was great, the room clean and the view over le Loire super. We recomend it!!!!! Lucy and Lio Jourdan

We recently undertook a cycle holiday in France from Roscoff to Jard sur Mer. We stayed at seven different hotels/gites.Six of the seven varied in quality between 'good' and 'excellent' and this was the seventh and overall it was 'poor'. Maybe we would have had a better view of the venue if we had not arrived on a Sunday, but hotels offering a service to the public should have the same standards for 7 days a week. We arrived at 1430h and the sign on the door said the hotel would not open until 1730h (these were different timings we later learnt than those that appeared on the website). At 1730h the hotel was not opened and it was fortuitous that a resident came out at about 1740h and rang the proprietor who informed her of the arrangements (where our bikes should be securely stored and which room we were in). This very helpful lady then gave us the key to our room and the code to the outside door. I do not know when the proprietor would have appeared. In the evening we had assumed that a 'Hotel-Restaurant' would provide a restaurant service. But not so, there is no evening restaurant service at the weekend. Fortunately the room was comfortable and the breakfast, though basic, was adequate.

Cycling the Velodysee, to date our experience in France had been a little disappointing but this changed when we visited Hôtel-Restaurant L'Esplanade. Everything about this place is superb, the food, the service, the setting, and importantly the value for money. So good!!!

8 cycling friends stopped here for a night and had dinner. The staff were universally friendly, spoke excellent English and could not have been more friendly The wine list had some real bargains - magnum of red for 30 Euro and so amazing well priced dishes. Good cycling room for storage.

Restaurant très propre personnel très accueillant le personnel cuisinier est formidable des mets très agréable bien assaisonné et de bonnes saveurs merci restaurant bien situé sur le bord de Loire ce restaurant vos le détour la cave a de très bon vin bio . C’est promis nous reviendrons restant adapté au PMR

Die Lage vom L'Esplanade ist perfekt, direkt am Radweg "La Loire à Vélo". Die Unterkunft ist gut und preiswert, aber nicht sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist eher bescheiden aber eben dem Preis angemessen. Die Zimmer sind sauber, die Toilette auf der Etage.

Belle découverte hier avec mes amies. Sur les bords de Loire, avons savouré un dîner parfait, plein de belles saveurs, plats joliment dressés dans un cadre très cosy bien agréable. La jeune cheffe est talentueuse et je recommande ce restaurant sans hésitation.
