Le Grand Hôtel le Touquet-Paris-Plage

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent—convenient and well-situated. The spa area was lovely and easily accessible, which added a relaxing touch to the experience. The food was also delicious and exceeded expectations. The only minor issue was with room maintenance, which could use a bit of improvement. However, it didn’t significantly impact my stay. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would happily return in the future.

We had an excellent Valentine's Day weekend in the hotel with a freshly renovated room and large, well-equipped bathrooms. On the other hand, the two saunas and the only Jacuzzi were taken by storm. We would have appreciated relaxing in the pool, but it was impossible as it was so cold at that time of year. Unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.

If you are looking for a run down room with the smell of the sewer emanating for the bathroom then this is the place for you. If you then want to go to reception to receive an abject response from a totally disinterested staff member who summons a "maintenance" man to come to your room armed with a bottle of some chemical, then this is again what you are looking for. To make your experience even more enjoyable, this chemical introduces another spectrum of foul aromas to the extent that it will make your spouse have a migraine and billious. When you then go down to speak to your mono-syllabic friend on reception who by now is even more disinterested but who comes up with the marvellous suggestion of giving you another room [not an upgrade, which you can doubt is even available within this substandard yet costly feeble excuse for a grand hotel], then again another great reason for wasting your hard earned money on a room like Room 416 that is in that part of establishment that the sign in the corridor that says the hotel is undergoing modernisation. We left to seek a habitable room in a "proper" hotel. Go on a weekend as we did on the 13/14 July, and you will be told that there is no manager on duty at the weekend although you will receive an email from their chef de reception 6days later refusing refund but telling you "that the wellness of our customers is our priority" - Mon Dieu!

Nice hotel but quite dated and the location is not great. We did get an up graded room which was nice and had an evening meal at the bistro. The food was good but not great and the service was slow. Would we stay here again probably yes as we loved the pin ball machines and motor bike amusement.

Very over priced for a tired and cheaply decorated hotel definitely not Grand. This said the bed was comfortable, there was ample parking and it was a good location to walk into le Touquet. Overall next time an air b and b would have been better and cheaper!

We booked to rooms for 1 night €530 for 1 night 2 rooms we got the card for the room we went in the room we have never been in a worser place no carpets on the floorboards went to the lobby to tell them they are no carpets on the floor and it's all cracked receptionist gave us another key went to the new room it had carpet but it was mouldy sick Mark's all over them went in the shower room all grout was mouldy went to the lobby again showed them the photos the offerd another room what was the point we had already been given 2 and was both terrible wouldn't give me a refund terrible the receptionist wasn't interested the rooms was terrible and smelled awful I will add pics so everyone can see for yourselfs I was there on the 29th of April
