Logis Hôtel & Restaurant - le Château des Tourelles 3 étoiles

Only our third stay here since 1997, it is still an hotel which stands out for service, food and wine. In a peaceful village in the countryside, but not far from the A16 or from Boulogne-sur-Mer. This hotel is marked out by the excellent service from the family and staff. We enjoyed two nights so tried and enjoyed both menus and relaxed over coffees in the lounge. The wine list is representative of most of France but it is especially noteworthy for its collection of half-bottles. These are ideal for single diners, aperitifs, or just the option to try several different wines iwith a meal.

We have always found it difficult to find a good hotel near Calais, but we certainly have now. We stayed at this hotel for two nights earlier this month. It was comfortable and very welcoming. The dinners were good, and the breakfasts were truly excellent, although my boiled egg needs more than four minutes! We intend to return again soon.

This was our first visit since covid and it didn't disappoint. We have stayed here many times over the years and we were so pleased to find that the welcome, the food and drink and the ambience were still as good. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and thoroughly enjoyed the menu. Highly recommended for a short break in northern France or a stop over at each end of your holiday. We are already planning our next trip in the Spring.
