Premier Inn Leeds Headingley

Can’t fault the hotel. Does what it says on the tin. Room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast typical but it was a good standard, continental and full English available (or both!) Parking also available with no need to book ahead. Check in was at 3, arrived at 2:30 and was told I could check in early but it would be a £15 charge😀. I declined.

We had booked a night at this hotel as it is relatively near to the Brudenell Club. We were visiting Leeds to see Chuck Prophet and His Cumbia Shoes play there. We arrived at the hotel mid morning and drove down the side street then up the ramps to access the rooftop car park section that is reserved for Premier Inn Guests. The ramps were pretty narrow- but parking is free. We were too early to check in but registered our car number plate before heading in to Leeds. We came back to our room which was fine- standard Premier Inn . We had an evening meal at the hotel restaurant . The temperature was a bit cold but the food was tasty at a good price- £16 for two courses each. As the room was quiet we had a good night's sleep. It's located in an interesting area but we didn't have time to explore this time. We would certainly return.

Stayed for 2 lots of 2 week trips here, bed was decent and WiFi, although paid for, did the job so can't complain at all. Food was really good too, but I must say the service was top notch - one in particular called Summer I believe was amazing, the care show really made the stay a good experience, and little things like remembering orders and taking the extra time to make sure I was okay really made me enjoy my stay, cannot speak highly enough of her. Thank you

Clean, comfy rooms. Friendly and kind staff who will help you out wherever they can. Will definitely be back when needed. Prices were great as well. Thanks for a lovely stay, will definitely recommend for people needing to stay in Headingley. thank you!

Been staying at Premier Inns for years as we like the brand, know what you get, and the breakfast is normally very good. However, on our last stay in Headingley we were told we could not have breakfast unless we had previously booked as they had run out of food! Spoke to the manager who explained that they had delivery issues. All seemed slightly bizarre as if we had booked the night before, we could have had breakfast! Wrote to guest relations who thanked me for the feedback but didn’t offer any gesture of apology to us. Tarnished the whole experience and will think again about visiting Premier Inn in future.

Reviewed already through Premier Inn feeback but was never published so I'm adding again. Perhaps an oversight but odd that a negative review wasn't publised using their feedback form. Within a few hours my husband's allergies had flared up. He only has allergies to cats. He had a terrible night (as did we all) with wheezing and feeling ill. We asked at reception the next morning if they allowed cats as his allergies had flared up and we were told they don't but "it wouldn't be the first time someone had sneaked a pet in", they said they would give the room a deep clean that morning. We assumed this would be ok and went off for the day (he improved as soon as we left the room). We then went back and asked if we could possibly change room but we’re told there was nothing available. On our return we could clearly see the room had not been touched let alone a deep clean as promised. There were dirty cups and stuff on the floor from when we arrived and within a few minutes my husband was sneezing and coughing again. I went down to reception to complain about the lack of cleaning (to Kieron) and as there were no other rooms spare the only thing left to do was for my husband to go back to my brother's for the night as he couldn't stay somewhere he was having difficulty breathing. I have plenty of photos showing it wasn't cleaned after we'd requested and reception didn't seem surprised it hadn't been done though he seemed quite annoyed it hadn't been - we didn't even have clean cups in the room for the 2nd night, we'd only been given 2 for a family room of 4 in the first place! Zero logic in that, a booking of 4 should surely need 4 cups?! Anyway the gist is that the room wasn't cleaned as promised by reception staff and I'm not convinced it had been cleaned before we arrived (there was a used contact on the floor and none of us wear contacts). We highlighted a serious safety concern and it was ignored which resulted in my husband not even being able to stay with us at the hotel. I believe we should be refunded for this stay under the good night’s guarantee as: We highlighted this issue to staff while we were there. Kieron said he would raise the issue with Head Office but there was no mention of the good nights guarantee or the process to complain (I have since Googled this) First night was disturbed by the dirty room and second night meant my husband had to leave and couldn’t make use of the hotel. Both nights meant it was a very disrupted night for the whole family and none of us slept well, enjoyed the stay or felt like we’d been in a nice hotel. It felt dirty. The opportunity to try and help us was missed by the hotel and they ignored our complaint. They either didn’t take it seriously or hoped we wouldn’t notice but either way, they failed to even try to fix the problem. We have stayed at loads of hotels and he has never had this issue before.
