We only stayed for the fun of sleeping in a room on the border, so our feet were in France and our heads in Switzerland. Despite this, it is actually a nice hotel. Traditional with wood panelling, photos on the wall, newspaper stories about the border hotel and so on. The hotel is a little worn around the edged, but it's also somewhat updated, with TVs and hairdryers in the rooms, wifi, etc. Our room was a bit small, but fine for what we needed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was really good. Plenty of space to store our bags. Our view was over the border between the two countries. Staff are very friendly and speak French and English. Our dinner was quite nice, a traditional Swiss melted cheese dish and breakfast was buffet style, but enough for us. Be aware, there's only one other restaurant up the hill and it may not be open. So choosing a half board option is a good idea. There's only one other souvenir/convenience store in the village. There's some border markers on the hotel and the street outside to take photos of as well. Payment is in Euro and if you need to connect to a phone network, Orange F is available.
