Hotel Abbaye du Golf de Lésigny

I was told this was the best hotel in the area, as I had business nearby for a week. Well, that might be true, but it is worth going further away to get something even halfway decent. We arrived at the hotel before 8 pm, as we were told that is when reception closes. We actually arrived before 6 pm, but when we wanted to speak to someone at 6:30 pm, reception was closed already, and the person at the restaurant could not say when they would re-open in the morning. The rooms are horrible. Very old-fashioned, primitive, poor electrical outlets, no air conditioning (I am writing this in July when it is nearly 30° outside), horribly slow internet, ... So, even though we booked 2 rooms for 5 nights, we are leaving after 1 night, as it is impossible to relax in a very hot room, impossible to work when the internet is from the days of dial-up modems, and impossible to be satisfied with a hotel that has no one to contact after 6:30 pm in the evening. Although this is not a very nice part of France, as everything is primitive in the area, just go closer to Paris or Disney and there are many better hotels. This was a mistake from the beginning, and anyone who gives this "hotel" more than 1 star should have their head examined.

I recommend this place for the tranquility and quality services offered. during the stay I had all the services necessary for the good performance of the activities.

The rooms are clean and really good. Staff is nice and helpful. Airconditioning works great and the bathroom is pretty big. Great access from the highway. No noise pollution for a good night sleep. The breakfast is fine.

The room looks nice and clean, bed is clean aswell and it offers a nice view. However it has a little bit of a weird smell, I started the AC and it seems to get better after time... However it's clear that the rooms are non-smoking, but it seems like the entire area is a non-smoking area (at least I didn't find a smoking spot) this is a bit disappointing. I think a dedicated area would be nice to have Also the welcome at the reception was nice and it was possible to talk in english.

Très belle hôtel, l’accueil y est très chaleureux et professionnel. Très beau cadre. Les chambres sont propre et bien agencé. Leurs salles de réception sont très belle, les poutres en bois donne une atmosphère très chaleureuse. Au plaisir de revenir.

Chambre avec lit double très bien équipé , propre, deco sobre et agréable. Magnifique cadre !!! Très ,très bonne accueil , personnel très à l’écoute et à l’attention du client ! Sourire et bonne humeur vous attends à l’accueil !! Je dois être honnête , il y a eu malgré tout cela un petit point négatif sur la cuisine avec un plat suprême poulet et pomme noisette qui pour le poulet était de taille minuscule genre aile de poulet très sec et quelques pomme noisette servie très froide néanmoins ce n’était pas immangeable !!! Les avis de clients ici sont écoutés et pris en compte car après le repas un geste commercial a été effectué! Alors merci beaucoup à vous et bonne continuation!
