The Ship Inn hosted our Vow Renewal ceremony and could not rate the customer service and support high enough. We used the cabin for our small gathering of 10 and we booked out 5 rooms for our guests. The team were outstanding; a few examples: guest allowed to check in early for ceremony, safe space made avilalble for our dogs, cabin access early to decorate room, the outside area reserved for us to use and passing customers moved on when they took seats on our deck, team managed all the table decor and changes, eating time moved out by almost 2 hours without any issues (because the finger food was so delicious)). The girls ran back and forth all day topping up drinks. I could go on and on and on… All rooms were spotless and fully stocked and the views from the front facing rooms stunning. The value for money for our full weekend of rooms, food and drinks was excellent. Thanks to the whole team for a seriously professional and welcoming service.

Hired The Cabin for a family dinner for 30 of us and took up the offer of the courtesy minibus. The service before and during the evening was excellent. Waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. Fish and chips were cooked perfectly and would be hard to beat. The venue overlooking the beach was lovely and made it a special evening.

From the welcome to the departure everything was just perfect. Comfortable room. Spotless bathroom. Excellent views, incredibly helpful and polite staff. Swift service (even at times it was busy) Food was great and Breakfast was faultless. The location itself was just incredible. Walks along the huge beach (When the tide was out) Easy driving distance to some of the tourist coastal spots and plenty of parking available around the hotel. My wife and I are looking forward to coming back.

This was our first visit to Elie and The Ship Inn. We stayed in the Admiral Nelson room - top floor with amazing views out over the beach and harbour area, a large comfortable room with a large ensuite. We ate dinner elsewhere but the breakfast was so delicious (smoked haddock omlette and fresh bakery produced bread) that I would be keen to return and stay for dinner.

Lovely stay. Staff are fantastic. Slightly on the expensive side but have a captive audience and is a beautiful place. Also drink prices are really reasonable. Breakfast was fab. Would come back. If I was to be picky, I would like to see robes/slippers in the room and hair conditioner. Parking is where you can find a space on a side street. All in all, would recommend.

We recently stayed two nights in the fabulous Ship Inn! We have stayed often over the last 22 years and it never disappoints! Our Captains room was very comfortable .. all that you would need/ expect..and more. Very smart en-suite! And the view from our room was just wonderful.. aided by the wonderful winter sun weather we had. We ate one night in the lovely upstairs restaurant and the second night in the warm cosey bar beside the fire. The menu was extensive and excellent. Breakfast was superb! It is very difficult to pick one member of staff out when the level of service was really outstanding… But a special mention is due to LizzieAnn who we encountered in various settings and she was so pleasant and helpful!

Booked the Admirals room and a Captains room. Both rooms had an amazing sea view. Lovely roll top bath in the Admirals room. We ate breakfast and dinner at the Ship inn. Both were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend a stay here.

Lovely place for a 3 night stay with excellent food and a lovely view of the harbour from our room. Could be noisy peak season , as the Inn is right by the road so you hear the early morning delivery vans and late night guests outside. Staff very helpful . Great location for walking out along the coastal path. I would definitely visit again

Stayed at the Ship Inn for a couple of nights and can only say it was an excellent experience; room was well appointed with fabulous views across the bay. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. Also had dinner in the bar which was very good indeed, again plenty of choice offered.
