We were staying for the night and had a good time in the pup the Mill. Austin and Izzy were greate host's, fun, fast an professional. The pup is saparate from the hotel accommodation so no noise if you want to go in early. We will come back next time.

Very comfortable room. Very quiet so a good night's sleep. Very limited dinner options and more limited when there's no chef. Who needs a chef for fish & chips? Breakfast over 1 hr wait due to poor staffing. Very limited breakfast options also.

I booked this hotel in August as I have a wedding to go to next year. 6 weeks after booking, the hotel have cancelled my booking as there is a wedding on the date I am due to stay - the hotel have known about this wedding since July, but let me make a booking. Fortunately, I had already made a booking with another hotel as I had read a previous review where a room had been cancelled.

Absolute disgrace Not one clean table, incorrect prices displayed, only 3 staff on duty, Basically the place is run by students or young servers, no stock hardly any ice creams left. Most if not all tables are dirty piled high with pots no sign of them getting cleared Disgusting will NOT be coming again

Charnock Farm is in a great location for us. We have family in Leyland and this is so handy just off the motorway though it us peaceful and has lovely surroundings with a lake, ducks, ponies and a donkey a very nice setting. Rooms are spacious, smart, clean and comfortable. Paid for a good breakfast separately in the cafe. Will definitely stay again.

Shocking today. 2 afternoon teas booked and looking forward to the day...over £17 each so expected a decent spread of food...i will cut the review short to 1 item as could go on..scone arrived and was wet through on the bottom (de frosted i would i suggest ) asked for a replacement very politely and it returned with the bottom of scone cut off 🤣..absolute joke...could ave had a lovely steak at the cavendish for less..lets be saying we wont be spending a penny in this fly by place again..rediculous

Friendly welcome on arrival and when booking in was really easy as the staff where really helpful, once booked in was directed to the building where we was staying. Our room was very spacious and also very clean and tidy, plenty of space for clothes. All the staff at reception and the evening wedding reception were very friendly and welcoming. Was a very pleasant atmosphere and would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend to everyone who is thinking about a venue to book. The staff are a credit to the company. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Our son has just moved to Buckshaw so we need somewhere to stay when we go up there to see him. Its in a nice setting and we had room 6 which was a stand alone bungalow. We were there for a family get together in Chorley on the Sat night. Great if you have young children re the petting zoo.

The 3 rooms we used where all dirty. The carpets and bathrooms where filty! Management where not interested in my complaints. I was offered a change of room late at night after traveling all day for 1 night and move back in the morning after. The whole place needs an upgrade. The window in one of the rooms wouldn’t close properly.
