Premier Inn Lichfield City Centre

Stayed at the Lichfield Premiere Inn Saturday night after a trip to Drayton Manor for my son’s birthday. Room was clean and ready for us as a family of 4. Shower was lovely and hot. We ate at the hotel for ease with young child. The evening meal had good choice and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The chicken curry was particularly tasty. We mentioned the reason for our trip in conversation and the next morning at breakfast the staff had put up banners and balloons, a chocolate bar present and cooked a special pancake breakfast for my son. Excellent service and extra effort from both evening and morning staff.

Walk in Breakfast. We were having a wonderful weekend in Lichfield & Tamworth , seeing Friends. We thought we might be too late to have a walk in breakfast , but were pleasantly surprised to discover it was on until 11:00 ( Sunday) . The Staff were all very polite & showed us to a table of our liking. We are big fans of Premier Inn breakfasts & Lichfield P.I. was top marks in everything - our first visit. A huge bonus was making fiends with Tracey , the Chef - a thoroughly likeable person. At most buffet breakfasts , the fried eggs vanish quickly. No worries for us , Tracey immediately fried our required amount of eggs for us & swiftly brought them over to us ( I am a gannet for fried eggs & nothing was too much trouble for Tracey , who sat down and had a nice chat with us , too ). All of the breakfast items were plentiful , nicely cooked & delicious , setting us up for a long , enjoyable day , sightseeing & meeting Friends. We love Lichfield & Tamworth , so will visit Premier Inn at Lichfield for breakfast again , & will visit when we are travelling to North Wales. Thank you , Tracey & front of house Staff , for making our magical weekend even better. Highly recommended.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much Tracey and Faye were brilliant , not only accommodating breakfast for my allergy but doing it with a smile and a no problem

I stayed here Tues 12th Aug with my husband for 1 night whilst visiting friends. We have stayed in many premier all over and always enjoy the experience. However the staff here took it to the next level, from the young man who helped us check in to the lovely barmaid Claire, who took time to chat. The lady in the kitchen was fabulous and we enjoyed the BEST breakfast we have had in any premier inn. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Well done team. We will be back. The hotel location is great, close to the city and parking is very well priced and easy to get to the hotel from. The hotel staff were very friendly and the reception and bar/restaurant area was very clean. The room felt a little dirty and the floor did look like it needed a good hover. We did find a hair in the bed, however it was clear the bedding was fresh. My husband noted that the three canvas pictures were really out of line and someone must have hung them while drunk. A few hours later my 3 year old son walked down the side of the bed and the middle canvas feel off hitting him in the head and causing him to fall. He was not hurt luckily but was very shocked and upset for a while after. When we reported it the staff were lovely and made sure he was ok. We wanted to let them know as we tried to rehang the canvas, it appeared it wasn’t hung right in the first place so we couldn’t put the picture back in the wall. Breakfast was slow and many items kept running out, making it almost impossible to have a full English in one plate or it would have been cold waiting. We would stay again as the location is great and the staff were lovely. I think we just got unlucky with our room.

Fantastic location, central to Lichfield. Staff friendly, and a lovely breakfast. Check in was not welcoming with impersonal machines that didn’t work anyway. Much nicer to be greeted by a person.
