Lijiang Shanhai Villa Homestay

Definitely a must if you want the best views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. My wife and I stayed one night at Lijiang Shanhai Villa Homestay in October, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. From start to finish, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff really stood out. Special thanks to Xiao Xu, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home — she helped arrange our transfer from the train station, accommodated our last-minute room change request, and even gave us a free room upgrade, which we truly appreciated. Our upgraded room was incredible — spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with modern smart-home features like automated lighting and preset room settings. The best part, though, was the floor-to-ceiling windows offering unblocked views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the lake. We even caught the golden peak early in the morning — simply breathtaking! We took so many photos and videos of the view — perfect for sharing on social media (and making our family back home a little jealous 😄). The second-floor café was also lovely, offering free breakfast (with three set options), complimentary afternoon tea, and even hotpot for dinner if you wish to dine in. There’s also a special viewing platform on the second level, perfect for mountain photos, and the staff can even help take professional pictures. Overall, my wife and I were extremely satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend Lijiang Shanhai Villa Homestay to anyone visiting Lijiang — especially if you want comfort, great service, and unbeatable views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

An amazing experience at Lijiang Shanhai Villa Homestay. The view is incredible, the staff are helpful. Not overly enthusiastic to bother you but just the perfect level of support and assistance. The coffee is great, highly recommend if you are someone who drinks multiple coffee’s a day!
