The owner is very enthusiastic and hospitable. The room is clean and spacious. A big plus, the boss can speak English.

This place was really awesome! I really enjoyed the view from the room and the hospitality was top notch. It's a bit hard to get to, even with a car, but we were helped out with getting our suitcases in and finding parking easily. Just about a 5 minute walk from the parking lot through part of the old town.

The hotel is on a hill, the taxi will drop at the nearest road and the staff was there to help us pick up our luggage. The hotel was located on one end of the town, and getting to the town centre was about 20 minutes walk. The hotel helped us to book the bus to tiger Leaping gorge. We learnt a lot of information and history about Lijiang through the friendly staff. We even got to try different local teas at the hotel. Room was a bit dated, but was alright for 2 nights stay. The view from the hotel overlooks the whole Lijiang old town.

Ideal location for photo shoots…suggest they should restore the hanging bed for photo shoots at the flower bed area.

Wow! A stunning view of the hotel and it is situated at the highest place of Lijiang Wall City. The food and sights seeing points, ie cafe, music house and restaurants, are surrounding you. But you have to walk a stone staircases from wall city to the hotel. You are able to doing so, a healthy walk not much difficulty. The staff 馬泰 is a very helpful guy and could help to take care you, especially the suitcases. The view is facing to the snow mountain, you must explore by yourself.

The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. The location was convenient yet peaceful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant.

The boss 老板 of this hotel is on premise everyday and would take time to speak to every traveler and drink tea with him. He is also very prompt in responding to any questions on WeChat and he also helped us to arrange for tickets to Lijiang Impressions, car to Yulong snow mountain, find a driver 包车 to Shangrila. As it is our first time to Lijiang, his help was extremely helpful in planning for our trip and I really appreciated his warm service. Next, the hotel itself has a small but cute courtyard, huge rooms and always cleaned everyday. My room could see directly to Yulong snow mountain and the rooftops of Lijiang Ancient Town which I enjoyed everyday. Small thing is that the toliet is not heated as this is not once of those new buildings but this was not a huge issue for us.

The view from the room is tremendous. It's steps away from all the shops in the Old Town while being secluded. It's also a short walk away from the old town, where you can find better food options. Matthew, the owner, is extremely helpful and speaks good English. Highly recommended.

So good that I had to stay here again!

Staff went above and beyond with the service! As the hotel is a bit of distance away from the nearest drop off point, the staff came to help us bring our bags up the mountain and saved us a lot of trouble. When we return to the hotel each night, the staff would offer us food, ranging from sweet soup to ginger tea. They even gave us rice dumplings during the Dragon Boat Festival! Last but not least, the staff gave us great food reccomendations and tourism tips. If you're not familiar with the region, feel free to ask and they'll be more than happy to share.

Very good location, a less than 1 minute walk from the old town, but at the same time the surroundings are quiet and secluded. Extremely helpful staff, gave us good advice and went out of his way to ensure we got to our next accommodation on time. Clean room with a great view. Highly recommend

Best stay I had in Yunnan!! Host was super friendly and caring. Offered us snacks and tea to help us settle in while waiting to check in. Best part is he helped us with directions and even offered to make ginger tea when we experienced some altitude sickness from Yulong snow mountain. Strongly recommend! Comes with a sick view of the whole of Lijiang Ancient Town.
