Tinghuatang halfway up a hill Resort Hotel (Lijiang Ancient City Panorama) recensioner

I didn’t aware this accommodation has a 12min walk from my drop off point. The moment when I need to walk to my hotel for check in I knew I regret booking this place. I was tempted to stay in the old town once as an experience and they have really nice photos overlooking the old town. Only advisable if you are travelling light and want to experience staying inside old town. I felt so bad when they help us with our big luggage up the stairs. Service is really good but there are people smoking in the lobby. They do provide pick up service from the drop off point. After staying one night. I would stay outside of old town for my convenience. The street can be dark at night when the shops close too. We back around 0000 after our massage session and the walk up to our room is really exhausting. I would love to have a night stay with car stop right infront of our hotel room in Lijiang than walking the 12-15min walk.

Really friendly service. We can’t speak mandarin but everyone went of their way to help us. The walk up to the hotel was a bit of an effort but if you want the view then effort is needed.

The location is quite far from the reach of transport. However the host is extremely friendly in which he arranged for porters to help us with the luggage. Cozy and nice looking hotel nonetheless.

Great and comfort hotel located in the heart of Ancient City. Friendly and helpful butlers and all other staffs.

We stayed 2 days at this hotel and its been amazing. Staff arranged pick up and drop off for our luggages. The only thing is that this hotel is slightly further inside of ancient city which is abit of a walk. Besides that, location is excellent and the view is stunning. Couple from malaysia 🫶🏽

Great location, walking distance to the centre of Lijiang old town. Also great service. They provide luggage carry support as cars can't get inside the old town. The view is stunning. We experienced some snow during our stay.

They problem is they get deposit. And our rooms view was not good

Little dong was a perfect host. He helped us with everything, and took care of everything we needed. However, the room was dirty and was not cleaned during our stay.

The place was gorgeous, a lot of flowers and a very nice terrace! Everything was perfect and the staff was very friendly. 阿成 Acheng was taking care of us during the whole stay. He is a local and he has made many very good recommendations and organisations for our activities. I can really strongly recommend this place.

My stay at Tinghuatang was exceptional. Service I would rate 100/10, feel like I have personal butler took care of my stay and very thoughtful of assisting me in every aspects to ensure that I have a great time in Lijiang. Beautiful hotel with charming blooming gardens and I love morning coffee and enjoy Lijiang old town panoramic view.

Very friendly service, great communication and collected us and took our bags to help us find the hotel. Gave us good information about the area. Great llocation in the old town. Really lovely panoramic view. Enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location if you also crave a full bird view of the old town of Lijiang! The services are excellent! The most important thing is they’ve hired a helper to carry the luggage up to the resort, which is definitely a life saver! I’ll come back for sure if I ever visit Lijiang again.

Good and responsible butler service and arrangement, picked luggage from the pick up point as the stay is in the middle of the ancient city mountain. 👍🏻
