Lijiang Ancient Town, Mid-levels, No Noise Viewing Light Luxury Courtyard recensioner

Hotel is located in the old town, approx 15mins walk from the main road, and up a hill. Arranged for pick-up service from the train station. Owner was very responsive via wechat and assisted us when we needed help. Communication mainly in mandarin. Great courtyard overlooking the old town. Towels, in-room slippers, and daily cleaning provided. Room is as described, however, the bidet was not working properly. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

room was clean.. nice view.. no noise.. they have a service to sent you either to airport or railway station if you stay for 3 night👍🏻👍🏻

Nice hotel in old town and great welcome tea with some fruit.

I love the view from my room. It is a loft apartment and very spacious for myself and my 2 girls 10 & 12. Room service is here everyday to replenish towels and items. They also clean it every day. The provide someone to meet you and your driver on the outside of the ancient town (as you can't drive in to the town) the person will pick your luggage up in a 3 wheel bike to walk you into the town. From my observation, all hotels are situated uphill. So the luggage person will then carry your luggage by foot to walk up the slopes or stairs to get to your hotel. Its all tiled and uneven grounds in these ancient towns. Lijiang's view is breathtaking so is be prepared to walk up and down the hill. On departure, you can also organise for the luggage person to lug your items down the hill and to the entrance of the ancient town to meet your cab / driver. Staff is so pleasant and helpful here at the property. He is always asking if we wanted to sit down for some tea and offering us their local flower cakes. I have had some great conversations with him and other guests at the reception / tea area during our stay. Definitely come back to the property again if we visit Lijiang. Breakfast is not provided but we walk out to a little cafe across from our property that has amazing views and a few cats on the property in a room that we can hang out with. Laundry area is available for you to do your own washing so all in all we are very satisfied with our stay as all our needs were met and more :)

Very nice experience, quiet hotel in the middle of the action of lijiang. The views are beautiful and the people that own and work the hotel are very friendly. Thank you for a great experience!

It's an amazing stay. There was airport pick up and As it's located off the main road (approx 8mins walk), there is butler service with their locals coming out to fetch the luggage while you walk. There's multiple flight of stairs so not suitable for elders. But if you're young the location is great vibey! Tho there's a lot of stairs, the butler does his job real well. The view was great to feel the vibe. At night, the night stars is amazing with lil pollution of lights. there's 鲜花饼at the common sharing dining area. If you takeaway, Can dine there too. Overall great stay. Just take note of the little inconvenience which you will get help. So not an issue.

Didnt realize its at mid hill level, the climb to reach the hotel is not elderly friendly. Not recommended if you have alot of luggages. However, the view is awesome and amenities are great.

Location was a bit inconvenient to reach as cars are not allowed inside the ancient city. So you have to walk and climb quite a bit of stairs to reach the hotel. Nonetheless it has good views overlooking the ancient city. Take note the toilet does not have doors or any of privacy. Good for couples. Toiletries provided. Although i wished they gave more soaps as se had to use them sparingly.

Very pristine and well maintained. Super clean, and quite close to the middle of the ancient city action. The terrace has a great view, the bed is super large, tons of on demand stations on TV in the room, and friendly staff. Really enjoyed my stay.

Boasting the 270 spectacular view of Lijiang ancient town at mid level, it’s a next level of stunning panoramic view of the entire UNESCO site. The rooms are clean & spacious. The owner is truly friendly & helpful. We had an awesome time there!

Ran Ran is super nice and friendly. She was like our private tour guide , accompanied us to tour around the Ancient Town and showed us some attraction points, making sure that we don’t miss anything out😍 Remember to contact the hotel before your arrival , they will arrange someone to carry your luggage too

Our stay was truly memorable, thanks to the incredibly helpful staff. When we left our wallet in Lijiang, they went out of their way to have it shipped to us in Shangri-La, keeping us informed the whole time. They also arranged for locals to assist us with our eight pieces of luggage, making the uphill climb much easier. The only downside is the hotel's location halfway up a hill, so it's best to travel light. But the outstanding service more than made up for it. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice view of the ancient town! May be a bit difficult to find initially but once you know, it’s really easy to get around and to. The tea is really nice and Ran Ran was very helpful despite our lack of Chinese speaking ability. :)
