Lijiang Ancient City Suyintang Inn

The staff were exceptionally accommodating and caring, they helped us get tickets and taxis and were patient with our requests. The rooms were spacious, even the smaller ones, and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom is a nice size as well, although the water pressure isn't great, you can at least expect really hot showers. Every evening, when we got back to our rooms, a warm soup was waiting for us, which was very soothing and perfect to wind down for the night. For breakfast you have the option to have the local MiXian noodles or congee with extras; a simple but filling breakfast that makes you feel ready for the day ahead. Lastly, they transported our luggage from the hotel to the entrance of the Ancient Town, which is very convenient. You may also request this service upon arrival to the Ancient Town, and they will pick up your bags whilst you have a look around. We definitely would recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful 1 week stay at 素隐堂 in Lijiang. The homestay exudes a cosy charm while offering modern comforts. Hosts 小帅 and 景阳 were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home with their thoughtful recommendations and hospitality. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and the tranquil courtyard was perfect for relaxation. The breakfast provided was homely and delicious. With its prime location within Lijiang Old Town, 素隐堂 is an ideal choice for an authentic and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

This is our hotel view at night. The hotel staff were very helpful! They picked us up and carried our bags from the taxi drop-off point to the hotel, and the same thing happened when we checked out. They informed us about what to do and not do, and advised us on which package we should take. Thank you for the great service, and we will definitely come back one day when visiting Lijiang again! ☺️

Great place to stay in the 古城.. the owner still walk out the main street to pick us up personally incase we lost the way as we check-in around 9pm after the sightseeing.. we have some yummy sweet soup daily to prevent high attitudes sickness.. 7 mins route to the stay include a slight slope n steps so just need to walk slow.. as they will arrange transport for luggage to the main entrance

Nice and clean room. Great location Inside the ancient town but seperated from disorders outside. Equipped with good amenities.

Very friendly owner, great location, owner introduce us places to go around, help us to book tickets for tour, only room a little bit small and hot water for shower not stable
