Mancaoju Inn (Lijiang Ancient City Dashuiche) recensioner

Great location hostel. It’s just opposite the north gate of Lijiang Old Town. Easy pick up point for your driver to any other attraction point. Great night old town view from top deck. Owner also guided my travel itinerary and gave great advices as well, but be aware owner only speaks Mandarin.

it was very pleasant stay at this Inn I have booked queen size bed, single room, which was very nice and comfy compared to its price and location you might be find, the room condition is not that tidy and clean but the building is old naxi style inn so you can't complain as it's price as low the owner of this Inn, very nice and friendly guy he always tries to help guests during your stay and he offers me various Yunnan tea everyday, also even had a nice dinner together that he cooks for me he only speaks Chinese, so it is good opportunity that you can improve your Chinese speaking and hearing skills, but also you are good to use translator the location of this Inn is just about 2 min away from north gate of lijiang old town from the rooftop, you can enjoy night scenery of lijiang old town every night therefore there's one thing you need to be aware, this Inn is located at the top of the hill, so you cannot access to Inn with wheelchair of course, there is no lift as the whole lijiang area is full of hills and mountains so if you are planning to stay in lijiang, you may need to buy some air canisters to adjust your body for few days oh and can't forget to mention about the young cat Thuan Zi, he's just few months old cat, calm and lovely he never bites me during my stay :), what a gently cat, never seen a cat like this calm and peaceful there's more things that I can mention about this Inn but I will replace it with some pictures that I took from here so, long story short, if you don't mind it's location(on the hill), tidyness(the building is old, so you can't expect super clean room) but the price can tell you it is reasonable I would recommend to stay at this Inn :) because of warm hearted host and the way of he treats guests

I really liked our stay here, it was cozy and clean space. The owner was really friendly and helpful, he recommended us a driver to go to Jade Dragon snow mountain. The view from the accommodation balcony was fantastic and the cat is super cute! Would come back again.

Best hotel for the best price. Clean room with sufficient amenities. The owner is also very kind and super friendly. To other foreigners, pls look out and follow this blue sign to get to the hotel.

The location is great, a few minutes walk from the North gate of Lijiang old town The host was very kind and helpful, picked me up at the drop off place The place has 2 terraces, one where you can dine on the 2nd floor another one on the 3rd floor where you can enjoy the view of the mountains and Lijiang old town I definitely recommend this place

I can totally recommend this hotel! Right next to the old town, but far enough from the loud noises during the night. Best thing for sure is how friendly and welcoming the host family is:-) Would come back again 🙏

This was a special stay for me since I forgot my backpack in the bus and the owner helped me a lot to get it back. Thank you again! Since he is a local he also showed me around to some very nice places. I still think about the restaurant we were before I left :P that barbecue was so good! I was there in December and it was somewhat chilly but with some sun it was possible to lay down on the terrace but I'm sure during the warmer seasons you can enjoy it even more.

Very nice hotel on a hill with amazing view of Lijiang ancient town. Everything is clean and tidy. Staff is friendly, they gave me traditional Yunnan flower pastries as a gift for my trip. I had a very comfortable stay. It is a good place to relax from the busy streets of the ancient town.

Its a lovely homestay, very close to ancient town. Run by an amazing amazing lovely couple. And trust me when i say they went above and beyond to make my stay super pleasant. Its not just about the stay, they helped me with everything, since i cant speak any Chinese, from helping plan my trips to finding cheaper options and even helped me retrieve my airpods when i left it in the taxi by mistake. Super responsive all the time and super helpful people. You’ll love this amazing cozy home!

Great stay! Lovely place with amazing views over the city and mountains. We enjoyed the stay here with tips about the surroundings and a nice soft bed. We would definitely come back

Great location, amazing view of the city and mountain. The owner was really friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations, places to visit (for free) as well as taking pictures. It's a bit up hill, and the last flight of stairs (if you stay at the topmost room with the great view) can be challenging, especially after walking the whole day. The owner helped with my bag going up.
