Manty House (Lijiang) recensioner

Staff were extremely helpful with the tour arrangement during our stay. Without their help, we wouldn't have been able to secure our tickets to the tour spots at the last minute. Good location once you get used to the neighborhood and whereabouts of the area - easy access to the si fang jie and once you get there you are free to go wherever you want, easy access to the outside of the gucheng as well by the backdoor that leads you to the mi zhu lu. Will definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful and cozy room. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming. The location was ideal and within the ancient city itself. Everything was a walking distance away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended

The hotel was gorgeous and situated in the perfect location. It had excellent views of the old town and the rooms are very clean and had all the amenities we needed. In addition, Matthew was an excellent host , he gave us free soup, heated up our food, Let us shower after we checked out, and gave great advice for traveling in Lijiang. I highly recommend a stay here and would come back again!

We stayed l 3 nights at Manty House (2 people - we spent 2 nights in the regular cheaper room and our last night in the larger room with bathtub). The first thing I have to note is how amazing the service was by Matthew (owner/host) who also spoke English. Not only did he meet us at the parking area to help us with bags, he also helped us book ALL tickets to visit jade dragon snow mountain (via the real website and not through 3rd party people) which made our trip to the mountain effortless- he also helped us to organise a driver to take us there and wait for us, which was competitively priced compared to hiring a DiDi driver each way. Additionally, on our last day, we had to check-out early and Matthew met us to help take our luggage’s and packed us some breakfast too. Top service! The rooms themselves were clean, a little bit older than the photos shown, much preferred the larger room which seemed to be more newly renovated, however very good value for money otherwise. Our bookings included breakfasts which had sweet potato, eggs, rice congee and scallion pancake selection. Conveniently there was a breakfast cafe next door to Manty house that made heavenly wontons and dumplings with soy bean milk. Good location, close to an exit to visit outside of ancient town, but also only a few mins walk straight down to the central square. Overall, highly recommend for the service alone. Great location and enjoyable stay!

It is inside Lijiang Ancient Town so it may be slightly difficult to get DiDi but the owner is super friendly and he will share with you all the recommended places/restaurants. We got a free upgrade to a bigger room as well. Money well spent! Can also see Yulong Snow Mountain from the hotel.

Spending time here with my family feels like a sweet dream. As a Korean, I highly recommend this beautiful accommodation to all travelers. The management of the property is excellent, and the pick-up service was wonderful. Mr. Eric and all the staff members were kind and always greeted us with bright smiles. After staying here for a few days, I already feel nostalgic as it felt warm and cozy like home. I'm leaving this review in a language I know to recommend this place to many travelers. 120 scoring of 100 - Very very very the best hotel. The owner take care us for everything. More convenient, 300 meter to go to The Square Market - 四方街, Lijiang Old Town, Taxi and Mufu (木府) Palace. We can travel all day and night. The hotel can booking taxi to take us from Lijiang Railway Station / Airport to hotel and back to Railway Station when I back of Lijiang. The hotel can booking Jade Dragon Snow Mountain trip, Impressions Lijiang Show and Car Rental in special price for us. Thank you for all supporting

It was a pleasant and memorable stay for my family. The view from the third-floor terrace was breathtaking. The team running the inn is fantastically friendly and helpful. Ah Chong would check with me almost every day to offer help in planning our following day's activities. Thank you to the team at Manty House.

Overall we had a nice experience in this hotel. helpful and friendly staff. it is located at the ancient city, however, to access the hotel we needed to walk a little bit from the road to get there by foot. room is a bit noisy as we can hear the people that are in the walking path in the street below the room. not much facilities.

Cute little courtyard and room. It is in the old town so easy to get a little lost butnthe attendant came and got us when we called and served us tea on our arrival. He also helped us carry our luggage out the next day. The room and beds were very comfortable, a good view ofof he sunrise over the mountain a short walk away. Good simple Chinese breakfast!

Amazing! Would stay here again. The owners are so lovely and friendly and helpful. They helped with our luggage and gave us some tea and fruit on arrival. They gave us so much information about where we should go and how to go about things to save time and money. Honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed. Recommend this stay to anyone wanting to travel to lijiang.

It is located right at the edge of Lijiang old town and it is easy to hail a taxi. Very convenient location as you can stroll right into the Old town area. Amazing hospitality from the hosts Eric and Matt. We were welcomed with some nice hot tea and flower cakes.They made us feel at home and helped us with booking the tour to the Jade dragon snow mountain. They arranged a cab to pick us up from the train station and also to drop us off (not free though). Really appreciate that they helped us carry our bags to the cab too. The breakfast is simple but yummy. Would highly recommend this homestay.
