The Jeremiah Mason House B & B

The reservation was made on the phone and the innkeeper sounded pleasant enough but I had to cancel as my own rental fell through. I called the next day to cancel and the call went to some answering service. I had prepaid for the entire stay of several nioghts. She had offered me a choice of several rooms and the inn appeared not to be very busy. When I reeived my credit card statement a few weeks later, the charges for the full stay were on the bill. The innkeeper said she did not get any call and was charging me as per her written cancellation policy. I never saw anything like that as I had called to reserve and did not hear any such draconian policy. She later removed most of the charges but was very unpleasant and unsympathetic. It was not that she a long line of peope wanting the room within the day or so before I called. I would never stay in any such place again and want to warn people about practices such as this. The final result was I still had to lose almost $200 because the woman was greedy and perhaps deperate.

Great experience. House is clean and well done. Valerie was very communicative as our arrival time was fluid. Check in was easy. Our room was very comfortable and the house was quiet. In the morning Valerie made a nice breakfast. Would certainly stay here again.

Exceptional B&B in Limerick, Maine!! The Jeremiah Mason B&B is a beautiful historic retreat. The rooms are comfortable and each with a unique decor. The entire property is very clean and well kept. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts are amazing. Highly recommend.
