Clean and quiet room, albeit lacking the decorative bed runner that adds character in the photos. Fluffy hotel cat. But one thing bothered me about my short stay. The Hotel de Paris website states that they store luggage and to inform them if it will be outside of their normal reception hours, so I emailed beforehand letting them know that I'd need to drop my luggage after my train arrived at noon. They emailed back asking for a time; I responded with a 15-minute window. Imagine my confusion on arrival when, after a somewhat chilly reception, the clerk dryly informed me that I was "lucky" he was there, since normally he wouldn't be. So had I NOT been so "lucky" (after two emails), I would have wasted the bulk of my only afternoon in Limoges on a drizzly Sunday stuck outside with my suitcase. Though our later interactions were friendlier, I feel that was a breakdown worth noting.

We enjoyed the 'french' elegance of this hotel, and the lovely way it was decorated, with old features preserved. A much better experience than staying in one of the big chains. The proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful, despite our not speaking french. A nice breakfast and a great location.

A very basic but clean hotel. We had a 2 night stay here in a double room. This hotel is a traditional old building with very high ceilings and an extra noisy plumbing system. Resulting in every noise being echoed around the place. A reasonable breakfast for €10 of pastry ,bread eggs and ham.

Excellent value for money, spotlessly clean, comfortable, helpful staff, nice breakfast . Within easy walking distance of Limoges Benedictins railway station and its adjacent Terminal Cars bus station. A good base to explore Limoges and the surrounding area.

An excellent hotel in a superb location near the historic centre and close to bars and bistros. The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was immaculate, freshly decorated, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. A great night’s stay with a good breakfast in the morning.

A perfect stay at this lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful host who speaks excellent english. Super french breakfast. Close to the centre and railway station. We will be staying again in the future.

You get one miserable pillow for your bed. Question of doubt when you say, only one towel in our room for two people… breakfast, is from the processed packet. More importantly, don’t touch the automatic door - that’s the greeting you get from your host. I could go on….. but we won’t be back. P. S. Bring your own shower gel Barry - Ireland 🇮🇪

19th century building beautifully restored, combining traditional features with contemporary styling. Personal, friendly service, good breakfast in delightful dining area. Also represents excellent value for money.

The hotel is located in a very convenient position to the train station (5 mins walk). There is also parking outside the hotel on the road and also directly opposite in a large car park. The building of the hotel is beautiful, with many original features. The decor now is a perfect mix of contemporary with the old. I had a room in the 2nd floor. It was at the front of the hotel and overlooked the street below and the park and the railway station beyond. The room was very comfortable and had all the facilities you would expect of a hotel of this category. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. I was provided with recommendations for a place to eat an evening meal and it was close-by and didn’t disappoint. The proximity of the hotel to the old town is excellent and only a short walk away. Breakfast the following morning was plentiful and very tasty. It was a buffet selection. All in all it was an excellent stay. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this hotel as a choice if you’re staying in Limoges.
