Had an uneventful 2 day stay and was thrilled to be able to extend for 2 days as our home is being renovated and my husband wanted to be able to relax and watch football, nap, and have a bathroom available. I was running errands all day and returned at 6pm to find a note slipped under our door stating we would have no running water from 9:30-2:00 on Monday for the entire building!! Since this announcement was dated 10/11, I would have thought this little fact should have been disclosed at check in. Or when the reservations were made (10/11). Since the clerk didn't want to extend my reservation when I checked in the first, I did it on line and was thrilled to be able to get the same room for the third and fourth night of my stay here. Will I be renewing again if necessary? Absolutely not!! I feel I should have a refund of at least one day and an apology. Now I have to find an alternative spot to sit for the day. Perhaps you shouldn't have the hotel occupied during water maintenance work. Any guarantee we won't have a similar situation on Tuesday?
