Hyatt Place Baltimore BWI Airport

The hotel is being slowly renovated - I don't think ,y room was renovated yet, due tot eh plasma TV, and broken coffee maker. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was mediocre and overall eating area felt cramped. The coffee at breakfast also did not taste very good. On the good side, the room was large and comfortable, with a nice work area. This is a hotel I would stay at again, but might not recommend to others.

This has been the worst hotel we have ever stayed at near BWI. We fly out often and our travel agent suggested this hotel since we would be away 2 weeks and they offer extended park and stay. Our first night before our flight was uneventful, although the hotel is under renovations. The parking lots has lots of broken glass and other debris. Be careful when driving and walking. The night we returned we check in and given our room keys and then told the hotel doesn’t have ANY water for the next hour or two. So we decided after a long travel day we went to Ruby Tuesday’s next door to eat. When we returned 90 minutes later still no water. We went to our room and an hour later tried to call the front desk. Phone didn’t work. Went to front desk and told no water for another hour or two. I said legally they need to have hot water available or close the hotel. The staff was very rude and didn’t offer any apologies. Returned to room. A knock on the door 30 minutes later and said if we move to the other side of the hotel we would have water, but to let it run for 10-15 minutes since it would be brown. We moved and by this time was totally exhausted and wanted a shower and a bed. After having the water in for 30 minutes still brown. Decided to go to bed (by this time it is 9:30 pm) and we traveled most of the day by air. Got up very early and checked out. Again expressed our frustration. The lady at front desk said they would not have water again. There were buckets in the lobby from a roof leak, all trim has been removed and the hotel is a mess. I called the next 4 days straight asking to speak to GM Carrie and ironically after the 3rd day she was on vacation. Requested speaking to someone higher since the hotel was just bought by a new owner and told they have no other number to provide. On the 5th day told no management over the weekend. The hotel should be closed until renovations are complete. We will never return and tell all of our friends and family never to book this hotel.

There were stains all over the floor and the couch. The trim on the walls were unfinished. The light over the sink flickered on and off. The shower handle wasn’t mounted and shifted when used. The good: the bed and hot water. I chose a Hyatt Place hotel because they’ve always been super nice and reliable. This stay changed my view on Hyatt hotels. The lobby, halls, and rooms need soooo much repair. The staff had terrible attitudes and were on personal phone calls while they were trying to help me. I was very disappointed.

I stopped at the Hyatt Hotel looking for a room for 1 night. My connecting flight was gone when I arrived in Baltimore. I tried other hotels but hadn’t had any luck. The Hyatt was also completely booked. I was very upset at being by myself in a city I did not know. Courtney was working at the front desk when I arrived at the Hyatt. She let me sit in the lobby and try to make other arrangements. When I couldn’t find a hotel Courtney reached out and contacted the Fairfield Inn. She found a room for me and had the Hyatt Shuttle take me over to Fairfield Inn. As a woman traveling by herself in an unknown city, it is so nice to meet someone willing to help. Courtney was that person for me. She helped calm my nerves, found a hotel for me, and had me driven to that new hotel. I couldn’t be any more grateful for her kindness.

Hyatt is my new go-to choice for business travel. Usually a top pick, this location is undergoing a renovation. The bar was closed but the kitchen remained open. The breakfast is excellent, with many choices and tasty options. The bathroom shower had mold in a decorative element. It is a minor but seriously important thing to notice this and easy to remedy. Alas, they. missed it.

Hotel was in the middle of renovation. Should not have been open to stay in the room. Couch was stained. Carpet was stained.

Dirty rugs. Don’t know what died in there. Sewage smell. Running water is black/brown. Hotel under renovation with no knowledge. No pool as seen in so many pictures.

I recently used this hotel for a meeting at the Batlimore Convention Center. I was always just 10 minutes away, and the traffic was never an issue. There are plenty of restaurants within a quick drive or jog. The price and value s really great!

The hotel was a mess, I understand some level of mess as they are renovating, but it was dirty, it smelled awful of smoke and ****! There were roaches in our bathroom and stains all over the floor, not what we were expecting at all!
