Residence Inn Little Rock

Checked in this afternoon, clerk was very helpful and efficient. Room was spacious spotless and welcoming. It smelled fresh, not chemically and ground were clean and safe appearing. Cost was very competitive. We actually checked in a day early and I’m glad we did.

In town visiting family. We had a studio & a 2-bedroom suite. Appreciated all the extra space & having a small kitchen. Reasonable price, plenty of parking, pool, gym and pet friendly. Only downside was the breakfast area needs a 2nd (or 3rd) waffle makers, it got REALLY congested at times with a line of folks waiting to make waffles. Food was mediocre otherwise & We opted to skip the complimentary breakfast & go elsewhere. But if you are in a hurry- it’s very convenient. Will be back again- really enjoyed the spacious comfy rooms.

Not one of the better Residence Inns. The fellow at the front desk was the least welcoming in five nights of Marriot stays on our trip south. He was lacking customer service skills for this job. More importantly this hotel has a very disjointed layout that spans a number of disconnected buildings. It is confusing to navigate and if the weather is bad you have to walk outside to breakfast and back. Strangely in the building we were in there was no ice machine - was there even one in the main building? And again another Marriott property with no easy to access outlets bed side - you know people plug in their phones at night! Finally the breakfast was pretty weak for a Residence Inn - actually worse than some of the Fairfields we have stayed at on this trip and certainly inferior to the RI in Bentonville. The only plus was the rate was good.

The employees were all so very nice here. From our check in with Crissy, who took me to a room to make sure it would be ok for my crippled husband, to Jennifer, who kindly assisted me with the fitness center, to Tonya, who cheerfully filled my ice chest, for our trip, we really felt like they cared and were so courteous. The breakfast was also delicious and quite varied.

For the majority of my trip, it was really good! My only suggestion is to help the front desk staff be empowered to make simple decisions. I had a room that had an oven and when I went to use it, the oven did not work. The main reason I booked this space was to have a working oven. I contacted the front desk and the service was very lackluster. I was initially told there was nothing that could be done. When I pushed and asked more questions, then I was told they would contact the manager to see what could happen. Just seemed like the bare minimum of service was being provided at that time. Eventually, a swap was allowed. It would seem that this was a simple fix and the staff was not able to make that simple of an exchange without higher communication being approved. All other customer service at this location was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful.

We crashed here for the night on a family road trip. Our door to the room was really loud, squeaky, and would stick. The gas meter/pipe near the entrance to our building A smelled really strong, so you'd smell the gas coming in and out of the building. Breakfast was standard and staff were friendly.

We went to check inn . We were told they could not check us in till 4. Ok. Please hold our bags. The women working the check in desk did not want to hold our bags . I politely told her that yes she will hold our bags. She did not give me a parking pass until I questioned another crew member. I asked her about things to do her response was I don’t know I don’t live around here. She was rude, uncooperative and went out of her way to be the least helpful as possible. Parking is around back of hotel. If you are carrying big bags it’s a hassle. You need to walk through the pool over rocks, then down a flight of steps to get to parking lot. Absolutely ridiculous. A terrible design Location is good. Would not stay here again.

Accomodates family travel. Nice rooms the only drawback is it is near the heart hospital and ambulance sirens 🚨 are heard frequently during the night. We experienced a fire alarm on the night of time springing forward The breakfast provided was nice too.

Back again after many previous visits here -- and it remains a perfect hotel experience. How so? Hallways and grounds are spotless, parking area well lighted... fitness room has free weights and machines... housekeepers are everywhere... breakfast features cage-free scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits, bagels/toasts, apples/oranges, coffee out before the 6:30 start of breakfast... and a friendly front desk that will cater to your every need and do it cheerfully.
