The ONLY MICHELIN rated accommodation in Arkansas. Read the review in Michelin, their review is spot on. This historic mansion is fully restored with great attention to detail by owner — Antonio. I’m a UTJD ‘77 and my wife is a Texas judge. Trust us. Stay here. Perfect couples (adults only) romantic getaway. Left of the governors mansion and a couple miles from Sonny Williams, our new favorite steak restaurant.

If you love Victorians, this is THE place! Soaring ceilings, original woodwork, big fireplaces, stained glass, a wrap around porch...all lovingly restored and furnished with period pieces. It's on a quiet side street-very little traffic and quiet neighbors. Antonio is a great host. Our room, the Petit Jean, was gorgeous, spacious, and well appointed. The only negative was the sound of distant passing trains blowing their horns several times over the course of the night-no fault of the Empress, of course. We'd stay here again if we return to Little Rock.

Lovely stay. We were in the cottage. It was great having our own driveway and the rear garden was a delight. The listing doesn’t mention that there is a full kitchen which was a huge bonus. Our host was helpful and we were sad not to be able to stay for breakfast.

What an amazing place. Like stepping back in time. There is so much to see you don't need to leave. Antonio is a fabulous host and is so knowledgeable I wish we could have stayed and chatted more. The room is decorated with every detail you could need. The bed was super comfy too. Thank you for hosting us. :)

We enjoy staying in older buildings because they have such a unique character. This one was definitely amazing. There were collections of things to explore in all the public rooms. It was almost like a museum that you could live in. You could feel the history in the place. Our room was very large and comfortable. Very clean. The location was close to downtown. The owner is full of information about the house and has suggestions for restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. I would love to have a longer stay here.

What an amazing B & B. Absolutely stunning. Antonio was the perfect host. I loved spending time with him and learning about the gorgeous house. If you find yourself in Little Rock this is a must stay. They allow animals to stay in the carriage house suits.

This is a truly special place to experience. The architecture is breathtaking. The interior has been lovingly decorated in time period pieces. The rooms are expansive and beds so comfortable. After a quiet sleep it was great to wake up to a delicious breakfast! The hosts are welcoming! Wonderful stay!

Beautiful property …the detail of architecture for this era is complete craftsman! Loved the wrap around porch. Also thought the secret poker room was pretty trick! The room in the carriage house was spacious. We own a small lodging business as well, so I am very attention to detail. Little things disappoint me if not spot on, that is where this fell slightly short of 5-stars.

We stayed two nights at this lovely restored B&B in the carriage house, beautiful property, we loved the historic features. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed the secret poker room in the turret and could only imagine what that must have been like back in their day.
