Epic Apart Hotel- Campbell Street

This apartment for the cost was absolutely perfect the location is very central to all.of liverpool and the price was amazing 2 bedrooms and 2 showers for all guests. Lost one star as decor is a little run down in places but for the size and location of this place it was perfect for a short city break.

The pillows are yellow, damp patches everywhere and no window restrictors on windows, sad state of a place really could be nice if the owners cared about it. All mattresses are stained and wallpaper peeling, just really run down and for the price you have to pay to stay id recommend staying anywhere else! :)

We stayed for 2 nights and in The Loft 2 bedroom apartment at 9 Campbell Street. Positives:- - Super central location. 5 minutes from Liverpool One shopping, surrounded by great food places (The Brunch Club does the most amazing brunch!!) - Amazing sofa and lounge area with really cozy comfy sofas - Great kitchen and dining area so would be great to come and relax with a group of friends. - Easy to find - access code and keybox for entry. - Really helpful hosts that came and assisted with extra towels and toilet rolls . Not so greats:- - The main bedroom had a broken blind directly opposite the bed so we had to block it with cushions so the light didn't flood in - The room was really warm when we arrived so we opened the windows a bit. Unfortunately, that meant the whole night had the noise of some sort of rubbish bins being emptied (and seagulls which were more expected.) - There were some really odd placing of features. Downstairs, there is a shower off the living area with no toilet, sink or mirrors. Upstairs, the main bathroom en suite had the mirror on the right of the sink and the lighting above mirrors was poor for doing make up etc. Other tips - Showers were good and overhead (so no handheld if that is important) - Parking nearby on meters or in car parks for around £25per day (or cheaper if you went further out) -

I decided to book this apartment for when I go and see Taylor Swift next year. I chose the option of no pre-payment needed due to it being close to Christmas and didn’t want to pay straight away. I booked this last night at 22:00hrs this morning before 10:00 I had £540.50 taken out of my bank. I phoned up and they said that they take 50% of the booking fee as a deposit with ‘Best available rate’. No where does it state that it is going to charge 50% of the booking. I’ve read to terms and conditions and there is nothing in it that states a 50% deposit is required. I’m getting a refund but it can take up to 10 working days. Will not be staying here! They need to display charges on their website or not advertise as ‘no pre-payment’

I stayed last month and the room was absolutely spotless I can say....... They responded within minutes with my questions on *********** and I can't say anything else. It's an awesome experience for me and for the whole family.

Good points- Check in process was smooth. Staff from the office were very friendly. Very quick to come and see us when we had no electric on arrival. Great location. The city chic was nice and spacious. Not so good points- Advised office staff that we were only given a toilet roll in one bathroom. Was told they would deliver more but this didn’t happen. Apartment has a lot of wear and tear. It felt clean enough but I would advise leaving socks on! Outside the front door on the first morning was a dead rat. Lovely. On the second morning there was loads of broken glass outside the front door. Carried my youngest down the road as there was so much. Very noisy at times from drinkers all night but central location so not surprised. However, the windows offer no sound protection at all. Would say for a young family or light sleepers then this is not a great place to be. We had a family above us on the first night. Fantastic we thought. No where near as noisy as young people partying all night. How wrong were we!!! By 4am we had really had enough of all the crashing around but they were only just getting started. The screaming and shouting began and at 5am the police arrived. So a very tired family for us but can’t really blame epic for that one. Shout out to the mixed group of young people on the 2nd September who made no noise at all in comparison!
