Good place ryte in the city centre.but lacks any amenities

Cost effective, situated in the centre, Spacious room and safe.

Aside from a couple of dirty chocolate bottle caps on the bed and a few other things left around the room, including the security safe not functioning due to not having been reset since the last guest stayed, it was good. The only issue with the things detailed above is that it means that the bed wasn't cleaned properly at all and that I was unable to leave valuables in the room. The two boys at reception went above and beyond with amenities and were happy to just pass us coffees and waters at no charge. My friend was also unwell and appreciated this greatly. It would've been a 5/5 review had the bed been cleaner and the safe worked. Sadly it was confusing to find the room as well as exit the hotel, as the way we came in had a "no entry" sign placed on the door shortly thereafter, despite everyone continuing to use it as the only possible way to access the elevator. Our floor was also still under construction.

There was stains on the bath towels and also on the bed sheets loads of dirty black hair in the shower plug would not recommend staying

Very disappointing stay. Rooms need a complete refurb; black mould in shower. TV didn't work. Location is only redeeming feature..

Overall it was good…

I found that without a window it felt claustrophobic however that is the room we booked, we enjoyed the hotel and the location and ir allowed us to see the city we went to university in, I would book here again but with a window next time! As it was a long walk to the other room

It was a very good hotel Amazing And it was a very beautiful place

It was clean, tidy, tv had great selection. The staff were pleasant and helpful enough. We were put on 5th floor took two elevators to get to our room. Not very accesible, it was like a maze. There was no tea/coffee, kettle facilities. The hot water wasnt working which charge £2 for hot drinks it was handy having a greggs next door. The headboard fell off the wall, i didnt complain but the plank of wood with nails in could of caused injury. It dropped almost on our head while watching tv. A free, or discount off next hotel stay would be appreciated.

First room had no hot water, we did get changed into a new room but 2 single beds, and the bathroom had a really bad smell. But you get what you pay for i guess

Excellent location. Room is spacious with high ceiling. The bed does not feel very clean though there’s on obvious dirt or stain.

It was great if only there was netflix or something on the tv and knew how to use it it was confusing and also if the shower head we could take it out and use it manually because it was quite tall for my partner

Great base for 1 night Bed & bathroom were clean but rest of the room was very dusty
