The acorn suite is lovely however the staff are rude, I paid a lot of money for a buffet package I wouldn’t feed my dog ( luckily I ordered from ocean food bar for extra hot food) . 12 pm bar not at all at 11.10 lights on stopped serving and at 11.20 fire alarms go off. No fire warden staff didn’t leave premises carried on cleaning. The fire alarm was deliberate by staff to get everyone to leave, though they won’t admit that. Refused to pay deposit back because a bottle of vodka found, toilets needed deep cleaning ( sud be done like that anyway ) and a broken dj booth door ( my dj didn’t use booth he used stage) The staff was rude understaffed and 45 min wait at bar Don’t book at this function suite! Only good thing was the tip we had for the barmaids we never gave at the beginning of the night! I’m not going to let any other family go through this! Before u book a function room please read reviews I wish I had a done, as most reviews say same as myself.

Absolutely shocking called in for a beer before the west ham game £10 for 2 pints of all we could call was pipe cleaner total waste of time and money don't ever go there we had 2 fabulous pints in the park just down the road and cost £7 will never again step inside door of this terrible pub

I went to the Sandon Hotel on a hospitality package, there really are no words to describe how bad the experience was!!!!!! The hotel was filthy, the staff were extremely unprofessional ,the food and drink, well there really are no words to describe it surfice to say it was staff canteen quality!!!! I booked this package with Champion Travel in Letterkenny, Ireland, so anyone thinking of booking this package in the future, don't!!!!! I cannot emphsise this enough, a complete and utterly rip off.This was a present for my husband's 60th birthday and to say I was embarrassed when we turned up to this establishment is an understatement!!! I know it's an old building but that is no excuse for the experience we had.Hard earned money spent on this excuse for a hospitality package, shocking!!!!!!!!

I had assumed that the damage deposit would be refunded automatically. Two months later, I'm still chasing. If I hadn't checked my bank account they would be walking off with £20. Rare to find someone to speak to on the phone, and they just fob you off when they speak to you. Who is in charge? Nobody, apparently.

So to start with this was a rearranged Mother’s Day that should of happened in 2020 but was understandably postponed due to Covid, so anyway it went ahead today and it was absolutely AWFUL.! Because they originally refused to pay back the money (£30 each) after it was cancelled due to Covid it went ahead today, sat there for 3 hours without any entertainment apart from head banging music, finally got our dinner served with what I can only describe as “scrags of meat) and it was freezing cold! Then we got a supposedly “magic mike” style show which I’m pretty sure wouldn’t of even made it in The Grafton they wrote that bad. Followed my a compare who was that drunk nobody could even understand him so he started calling the crowd for everything as they had had enough of him slurring his words! Followed by a Bulgarian “comedian” who was that bad got sent off stage by the compare who stated he would pay him just to leave the stage. All in all it was an absolute waste of a Mother’s Day, I wouldn’t recommend The Sandon for anybody. It was obvious they got the cheapest and worst entertainment around due to the fact the had to “honour” the money they refused to refund everybody who paid in 2020. Absolute joke of a place and the management should be ashamed.
