Group of nine for a weekend away. Positives... Fabulous location.rooms quite spacious. 5 minutes from the train station..central for bars and restaurants. Negatives.... Looks messy from outside with the scaffolding but that can't be helped. No lift in the building but knew before we arrived. Lots of steps to top floor rooms. No loo paper on arrival to our room. Requested when we went out and they left it on the floor outside our room. Thankfully it was still there . Next morning discovered that the The bathroom bin was full.. and I mean full of used sanitary towels. Mentioned to the staff that this was the case when we went for breakfast ..we went for a walk after breakfast and on return the bin was still not dealt with.. Tin foil and rizlzors papers in the bedside cabinet.. empty shoe box in the wardrobe and a dish cloth left on the tea tray. These rooms are not properly checked for basic things between guests. The kettle had water in and the lid was very dirty. It's not difficult things to sort and shouldn't have happened ...breakfast . Seen a post on Facebook that recieved a reply from the hotel about deals on the breakfast. Asked about it and was told no.. its for winter to get people in.. I get that but the response was 3 weeks ago??? Found the chef a bit abrupt when questioned. Another member of our group had to move rooms as it smelt of animals urine....

Good value for money. I was given a very big room 17 on top floor with a panoramic view. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. There was also a nice round table in there. A family room with bunks. Good tray selection. All facilities good. Bathroom large and a great shower. The bathroom and room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. I had a very peaceful night and a great sleep. I did not try the bar as it seems quite lively and I am revising atm. The views of sunrise and sunset spectacular.

Lovely hotel , perfect for an over night stay , great location, rooms clean and comfortable beds . Staff were lovely, the owner even organised last minute birthday ballon and chocolates for my daughters birthday and she was absolutely made up. Will definitely be coming again in the summer

Thank you to All the staff food was absolutely amazing, and big portions as well Service was spot on . We were made to feel welcomed from the minute we arrived . We will be recommending your food to friends and family . Cheers from The Buffs club Llandudno.

The food was better than expected because we were greeted by the most disgusting smell of burned grease and a very unattractive, unappealing interior. Really, the place needs a revamp and a good clean and a lot more oomph if it's not going to disappear into the fairly distant past.

Exactly wat 39£ gets ya and worst nights sleep iv ever had (not the bed) but the most gobbiest disrespectful guests in the room above me. Absolute child’s behaviour from 2 or more grown women screaming and crying and banging around, arguing like little ****** at 1am in the morning for 45 mins or so. Grow up and stay of the beer ya wrongens. Some guy banged on the door raging at them and told them to shut the f@#k up.. well done to that guy..apart from that bed was comfy, bathroom floor was like an ice rink it was that slippy and good luck if u more then 15 stone in weight getting out the shower once uv struggled getting in to it and then managing to squeeze past the toilet whilst holding ya towel on and not breaking ya neck getting out if it …typical SHAMELESS hotel/bar 39£ says it all really

Booked for a get away solo Christmas break. On arrival the hotel was covered in scaffolding, and looking dirty. The staff were indifferent, overcharged twice for breakfasts, room shabby, and didn't stay my five nights as couldnt wait to leave. The stairs to the rooms were too many and impossible for anyone with mobility issues. Unable to recommend.

I feel like I should write this, the rooms are in a bad state, carpet was soaking wet, the walls were damp with wallpaper coming away from the walls, roof leaking, and in general it was just dirty, I did complain to the hotel and got absolutely nothing from them would never stay again. Mark

Great stay from start to finish, the staff were so nice and friendly, very accomodating , place was spotless , rooms very well kept spotless and well topped up with teas coffee water biscuits and other goodies, very well maintained .will definately be back in a heartbeat , karaoke on saturday night was also a fantastic night . Big thank you to sam and claire and all staff
