The Manor Hotel

Well located on Llandudno sea front in Craig y Don. Staff we pleasant and room was clean. Was the room value for money at £90 per night. NO. Decor dated. Lamp , tv and kettle connected by a web or multi plug sockets. There was NO hot water . This place is tired. Our curtains were hanging off the runners when we arrived and the window would not shut properly. We stayed a Saturday night. Sunday breakfast Wes 8:30 -9:30am Far too early when most of the town does not open until 11am. One to avoid.

A lovely old seafront hotel with bags of character. We stayed in a very large comfy corner room with spectacular sea views. The staff were friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Facilities were good and breakfast was plentiful and of excellent quality.

Would like to say this place has so much potential but word fail me. We wanted a one night stay for our family of 4 in a family room. On arrival the gentleman at reception( who seemed to be running the whole place by himself) informed us that the card machine wasn’t working so the room would be £135 cash. This was not a problem. We went to our room and were shocked by what was offered for the price requested. The bath room was shocking ( as per photograph). Hairs in the plug holes, dirty rusty shower rail. In the bedroom My son took his trainers off and was greeted to wet socks, the carpet was sodden. I could continue but the photos speak for themselves.

Nice welcome very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Only had one issue tv went off but was sorted within 10 mins. Breakfast fast was very nice you could have full English or continental Or a bit of both, Had a sea view from the room was pretty quiet up there would definetly stay again. Overall had a very pleasant stay and would stay again

Host was great. Went above and beyond to resolve any issues we had straight away. However the room was old and and need of a refurb. The mattreses were stained but linen was clean. No radiator in the bathroom so it was freezing in there at night. There was a loud humming noise coming from somewhere that went on until late at night then started up again early morning so that was a little annoying. Then there was breakfast. We were informed on check in that it was continental only. A bit disappointing but never-ending. However the pastries were individually wrapped as if supermarket bought and the other options were toast or cerial. Overall a pleasant stay. Just a few things to be worked on

I'll stick to the facts. It was a very small bedroom, nothing like what appears in the photo's. The cupboard was broken. The toilet seat was broken. The toilet flush handle was broken. The extractor fan in the toilet was broken and inoperative and as there isn't a window to open the only place for any smells to go was the bedroom. Towel rail in the bathroom missing. There was no drinking glass or anywhere to stand a toothbrush in the bathroom. The bin wasn't emptied once in our 3 night stay. Towels not changed once in our 3 night stay. Tea and coffee etc not replenished once in our 3 night stay. Breakfast is continental not cooked and because they only opened half of the ground floor we were told that breakfast would have to take place in two sittings. I was told at check-in that their card machine was not working and would apparently not be working for the next 3 days of our stay, so we would have to withdraw cash to settle our bill on departure.
