Chatsworth House Hotel

We stayed on the 11th January on a mystery trip visit, was so excited we had come to wales, absolutely beautiful location and town. The room we was initially given was a bit pokey, slightly grubby and facing the back, after speaking with reception we were then given an alternate room which was much much better with a great sea view and great view of the pier! We enjoyed our trip that much we have booked again to visit in March and the summer! Hopefully we can request the same room again. Reception staff were friendly and useful and the restaurant staff were very attentive. Great breakfast! There was entertainment on in the evening at the hotel, we made it back in time for a fun game of bingo! Can’t wait to come back to Llandudno!

We stayed the weekend of 4th January for 1 night with our Mystery tour. The room was basic, tea and coffee making facilities, toilet and bath, with shower over, sink was in bedroom, also it was very warm and no thermostat to alter. Dinner and breakfast were included, can't really fault the meal for the price we paid, 3 courses, breakfast was however not great, there was a massive queue because 3 coaches full of people came down at the same time, hotel staff couldn't keep up with the demand of the help yourself buffet. By the end there were people waiting 30 mins for eggs. All in all it was ok for what we paid

We booked last year for New Year 23/24 and enjoyed it so much we wanted to go back for New Year this year 24/25 what a mistake!! Cold food every day, New Years Eve Gala Dinner was Prawn Cocktail left on Table for everyone even if you don't like seafood and poorly Tummy waiting to happen! Two options Beef or Nut Roast don't eat either so asked for sausage which they had for lunch that day. Toast and Tea put on table to go cold before you come down to breakfast, coffee sat in jugs to stew, pudding cheesecake that was still frozen!, need I go on!!! Entertainment was appalling! No countdown to The Bells for New Year, people reserving tables with the free drinks they got earlier so nowhere to sit, not good especially if your 85 years. Party games! Don't even go there! Kids stuff! I may be writing this review but its on behalf of the elderly who cannot use Trip Advisor, like us they came back because last year was great, WHAT HAPPENED! Breaks 2Go if you want someone to visit your Holiday destinations and review them before you offer them to people let me know! Would happily give you honest feedback!

The door to the bedroom had broken so was heavy to open and close. One mattress was lumpy. The TV had no volume. The sink was in the bedroom, not the bathroom, and the bathroom door wouldn't shut. The evening entertainment was dire so we retired back to our room, to the floors vibrating with the base and the volume of the entertainment which meant we couldn't even concentrate to read. At 10pm we went for a peaceful walk along the promenade to get away from the noise, returning at 10.35pm where the entertainment was just finishing. Returning to our room, whilst the room was no longer vibrating, the noise from the bar continued in to the night. Granted, we should have requested a room change from the start. Tip - don't get a first floor room if you stay here! The staff were very nice and friendly though so that's the plus.

Just got home from stay in chatsworth very basic hotel but clean and cheerful , food ok staff very friendly and helpful.. big shout out to Malcolm who helped us with wheel chairs up and down a very steep ramp, nothing to much trouble great atmosphere for the entertainment.

Lovely 3 star hotel with nice seaviews and large lounges providing entertainment on weekends. I stayed with a Group, had a comfortable single room with shower. Not far from beach, shops etc. Food was good quality and fresh, Jess our waitress was very attentive. I would definitely stay here again.
