Meliá Lloret de Mar

We stayed here for just over 2 weeks using it as a base to visit Barcelona, Girona & the surrounding areas of Catalunya. It was our wedding anniversary, so we upgraded to a room with a sea view balcony & to the Level which includes a la carte breakfast & a lounge which serves wines, spirits & snacks at lunchtime & pre dinner. Fantastic welcome from the staff at The Level Javier & Marah, they couldn't do enough for us during our stay Room was amazing with panoramic views of Lloret & the coast, very comfortable bed, & pillows with turn down service at night. Hotel gardens are extensive, with good size pool & plenty of sun beds & Bali beds available, & pool bar- Gaia- for lunches & snacks. The hotel is set back from the main strip & the beach is a good 10 minutes walk but there are also restaurants & bars close by. When we dined in the hotel restaurant- Mosaico- there was always a good selection, as well as a hot cooking station. There is no indoor swimming pool as such but we used the spa & rykotherapy pool which is chargeable. Overall a great stay, all the staff were very friendly & approachable. Marcos & Mileana in the main restaurant were very efficient & extremely good with their customer service. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday & celebrating our anniversary at The Melia & will certainly visit again. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed for 5 nights in September. We booked the level room and it was well worth the upgrade. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While we had booked level we were both happily surprised by the extra touches, such as the cava welcome, turndown service, the level lounge and the level area at pool. The pool was great, pool bar and level area were very handy. The sunbeds were comfortable and pool towels provided were very big and soft. We had b&b as like to explore local restaurants when travelling and were given some excellent recommendations. Both the lounge and buffet breakfasts were good. The hotel is very moden and clean. The bed was huge and comfortable. The ritual products in bathroom, and robes were lovely. We would very happily return to Melia hotel and thank you all for looking after us so well.

Wonderful stay, with exemplary service from the staff - in particular Sabina (working on Reception). Our allocated room wasn't to our preference, and Sabina went out of her way to offer 3 alternatives. We were happy to pay a small price to upgrade to a room further away from the lift. The hotel is spotlessly clean, so much choice at the buffet breakfast, and we enjoyed one evening buffet meal. A problem with the air conditioning was rectified within 30 minutes, even though it was late in the evening. It's about 10 minutes to the beach, which can seem further when coming back uphill, but that's what we expected. A couple of local bars close to the hotel, and if you choose the right one - great prices and good food. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Amazing trip, and amazing treatments in the spa by Monica and Suzanna, top service, very relaxing 1st class massages! Would definitely recommend, we also used the spa itself, loved that too!! Would definitely go again, Hotel itself is lovely too, so clean with lovely decor!

The staff were absolutely brilliant throughout our stay, the enthusiasm they had was exceptional. A really spacious pool area gave us the perfect place to relax. Breakfast and food options were great. We can’t wait to to come back and visit.

I stayed at the Melia Lioret De Mar with my family at the beginning of June 2024. The holiday was beautiful from start to finish and this is due to the lovely, kind, attentive staff at the Hotel Melia. From the start of the holiday the older gentleman who collected our suitcases and delivered them to our rooms and who also offered his assistance throughout our stay - we could not have asked for better service and a warmer welcome. The reception staff were also attentive and no problem was too big! especially Nadia at the reception who was kind enough to assist my father with the Netflix issues he had (during the only rainy evening of our holiday) . The lovely hostess Diana who welcomed us every evening in the restaurant - and also provided guidance on how to get travel into Barcelona (we were not aware that a direct bus service was a stones throw from the hotel) Maria the waitress in the restaurant who assisted my mother by preparing a decaf coffee personally when the machines weren't working (going over and above) and Luis and Clara who worked in the pool bar and made an effort to remember our preferred drinks and were always so welcoming! The entire hotel provided a safe and warm environment in a gorgeous location with beautiful rooms. The outside facilities and pool locations was beautiful and the energy from the aqua fitness instructor was charming and created a lovely fun atmosphere! I would also like to make a point of highlighting how lovely the male pool life guard was and the lovely laidback atmosphere that they created, this was in comparison to when a different life guard was on duty and made it their responsibility to tell people where they could lounge (even though this was not indicated on the loungers or anywhere in the pool area, everyone had previously been allowed to lounge as per their preference and this specific life guard did create an awkward atmosphere and made several holiday makers uncomfortable) a part from this incident with the female life guard the entire holiday was beautiful from start to finish! I will recommend the Hotel Melia Lioret De Mar to everyone I know!
