I have returned from a 9 night stay at this hotel and I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone! It wasn't a child friendly hotel, both outdoor pools closed at different times due to health and safety (broken tiles, greasy water) so made the indoor pool very busy! Strictly no floats aloud because it makes children 'scream' and disturbs the Spanish residents! One life guard for all 3 pools. Management was rude, the hotel felt like a retirement home for the Spanish, English people wasn't felt welcome. Entertainment for kids and evening show was awful, snack bar I would avoid.. gets taken out and put back in the fridge, mould was found a on hotdog! No play area for the children.. only a tunnel. Restaurant staff were lovely, the man on the door is not! Food was limited but was ok, don't cater for kids unless they like pasta and chips! The maids are lovely, always spoke and left your room feeling clean! The flooring at the front of the hotel is shocking, my little boy tripped a few times as uneven. This is not a hotel for children! Will never return.

This is the only review you need (some of this applies specifically to May) Overall this place is good value for an all inclusive stay. Excellent staff and service provided. Food: Decent buffet style spread, quality is okay and decent variety between the three meals. The dining room is very clean & the staff friendly and professional. Snack bar is not good at all. Unrefrigerated hot dogs, burgers (both very bad quality) and ham, cheese etc. The pastries are fine tho if a bit stale. Drinks: Good all inclusive options, San Miguel on tap, Sangria, strong mixed alcoholic drinks, shots, some decent cocktails too. All usual soft drinks, the coffee is really good but kinda small cups. Facilities: The rooms are great and everything you need. Comfy bed, air con (it does work but it’s complicated, may need to ask for help instead of assuming it’s faulty), fridge, bath+shower, wardrobe, safe, etc. The cleaners come EVERY DAY which I think is exceptional for the price we paid. Our balcony also had a gorgeous view of the surrounding landscape. The quieter pool, higher up in the hotel, was frrrreeezing in May, definitely not heated but may be warm by September. Nice clean pool tho and clean area with loads of lounger and umbrellas - definitely won’t struggle to get one. The other pool might be warmer but we didn’t try it. Clientele: In May 2025 it was full of older people, which made it nice and peaceful but they did stare at us a lot as a fairly loud group of 20-something year old lads (no surprise there really). If you want more of a lively crowd then this hotel may not be for you if you’re coming in May. Location: Perfect, right in the heart of Lloret. Loads of shops, bars, clubs, restaurants etc all on your door step here. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach too. Thanks to the staff, particularly the younger lad working on the bar, you were all excellent and are a credit to the hotel. Anyone reading this looking for a cheap and cheerful stay in Lloret, give this place a think. For what we paid I say it’s pretty good.

We stayed at the Gran Garbi for a couple of nights at the begining of June and we had a lovely time. The hotel was clean, the food was good and the day time and evening entertainment was great. Pedro is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is fabulously located close to the shops and the beach and all the staff were very helpful. On our departure day we had a late evening flight and we were allowed to remain i our room and enjoy the facilities all day. The only thing that could have been improved is that the aqua park was closed during our stay and on the website it mentioned that it will be through the whole of May but my fault for not reading this before booking.

Room had 4 beds crammed together, no space at all, balcony door was old and had a flip latch. The staff on dinner kept asking if I was English. What has that got to do with anything - head women in the dining area pointing rudely 3 times at the table I was sat. So I went and spoke to whom I assume was the manager - he clearly also had a problem with English. I asked him why I was constantly asked about being English and he said it was there job. I replied you asked me once which I replied. He did eventually apologise. Lifeguard cannot stand kids playing on the Astro turf. Food was constantly cold or under cooked. Final morning before checkout, normally they were opening the restaurant around 7am, they let Spanish in and then locked the door. So both of my children couldn’t have any breakfast before the travel back to the UK. So many people stood outside waiting patiently to go in. Avoid this hotel, don’t waste your money - staff are rude and make you uncomfortable for being English. I’ve been to a lot of places around the world and this is by far the worst!
