Out of a 17 day trip this was our favorite location! We would have loved to stay several nights. This is so tranquil and cozy. A full kitchen, family room, sheep out in the pasture, we just didn't want to leave. Perfect place to stay for heading to Handa Island and then returning.

Quiet peaceful cottage, a perfect two night stopover for some relief from driving these roads. The cottage is warm and comfortable with heaters and a wood burner fire. Good kitchen facilities for self-catering. There are walking opportunities and beaches close by. Paul is very friendly, helpful and accommodating, he is a great host.

Stunning location and property. There was so much space inside the property it made a welcome change from some of the more typical hotel accommodation we have stayed at on our #NC500 tour I'm actually sat in the cottage writing this review and love the fact the bed room is separate from the kitchen/lounge which is especially useful if one of you likes to get to bed earlier. Like a lot of non-hotel remote properties this does not have a TV but does have Internet access and they provide a portable DVD player (we didn't use this) and a selection of disks. There is also a selection of books. The owner is very friendly and helpful and we highly recommend this property.

This was a fantastic 2 days on our summer NC500 trip. Paul was a fantastic host and made us feel totally at home. Everything you could possibly need, including eggs from the pretty hens. Loads of books, games and DVDs, cosy log burner with all fuel prepared for you in the nearby log store. We have rebooked for a longer stay of a week next summer and we can’t wait to get back there!!

Absolutely spot on, lovely welcome from Paul. The Croft was warm and spotlessly clean with everything we needed, even the log burner was ready to go. Very comfortable bed, we felt so well rested, and enjoyed watching the Tups in the paddock from the kitchen table this morning. Would highly recommend.

Lovely accommodation beautifully finished. All high end home wares clean and tidy . However I did find it cold ...slept with 2 quilts on . The living room was warm but bedrooms struggled to keep heat so was uncomfortable
