We adored this masseria — one of our most favorite stays ever in Italy. Location is just outside Locorotondo, beautiful views, lush countryside. The masseria has been beautifully restored to perfection. And the staff are so kind and helpful. The room, decor, furnishings, bed, linens are perfect. And breakfast was wonderful. We thought this location was ideal and easy to explore the surrounding villages and beaches. Locorotondo was our favorite village. We stayed 4 nights and could have stayed longer. Go and see Puglia!!

We had a fantastic stay. Room and grounds were fantastic. Emmanuel the host however really made the stay phenomenal. Met us ( we were late- 10:40pm arrival) in town at dinner at a restaurant he assisted keeping open. Met us then after we ate and led us to the Masseria ( 12 min walk from town or 5 min drive). Was kind, solicitous, booked ed us reservations with wonderful suggestions when requested. Breakfast was phenomenal. Staff were friendly and competent. Our room was wonderful with a view of town and the grounds on our own private Deck. Overall could not have been a nicer stay unless we had extended our time there!

Emmanuel was very helpful and the accommodations very comfortable. Our room had a patio and extra sitting area. Easy to tour the area from and lovely to relax by the pool afterwards. The breakfast was delicious and the setting in the beautiful gardens very nice as well.

Emanuel and the staff were so passionate and always greeted us with genuine charming smiles. We felt extremely special throughout our stay. The room is simply stunning, spacious and comfortable with a magnificent view of Locorotondo. We enjoyed the10-minute leisure walk from the hotel to the historic centre because of the breathtaking views from different corners. We couldn’t stop admiring the delightful secluded garden with a spectacular range of gorgeous roses, aromatic lavenders and vivid flowers. We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade pastries and delicious jams. On top of that, one of our favourite morning coffees to die for was the “due cappuccini” which were so smooth and delicious. Thank you to Emanuel and the team for making our stay a memorable experience. Masseria Grofoleo is definitely highly recommended.

Our group of three couples spent a wonderful few days at Masseria Grofoleo. Emanuel and his team treated us like family and bent over backwards to make our stay special. The breakfast was wonderful and it’s a close walk into the lovely town of Locorotundo. Each room was spotless and completely modernized. The grounds are manicured and full of amazing flowers. We recommend Masseria Grofoleo highly to anyone visiting Puglia.

Amazing property, recently renovated to a really high standard. Location is great, really quiet and peaceful with fantastic outside space. The owners and staff are really attentive and go the extra mile to made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

Masseria Grofoleo is a traditional farmstead which the owner/proprietor has renovated and tastefully converted into eleven luxurious guest-rooms. It is located off a quiet county lane and surrounded by stone walls and olive groves, which combine to create a tranquil oasis. Guests are treated to a stunning view of Locorotondo, one the most charming hill-towns in Puglia. The service is impeccable. This is one of the most delightful establishments that my wife and I have ever stayed at.

Emanuel and his team, including the lovely Mariapaolo and charming Evano, pampered us completely for our 4-night stay. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and way more than we could eat. It’s located within walking distance to the lovely town of Locorotondo and close to all of the amazing Puglia towns. We stayed in an amazing Trulli that was completely modernized and large. The grounds are manicured and full of aromatic lavender, Rosemary, roses and more. Emanuel was always available to us and even drove us to dinner one night when we had trouble parking in Locorotundo. Be aware that Waze is the best navigation tool for this area. We will recommend Masseria Grofoleo to everyone who goes to Puglia.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in early July. It was simply outstanding. Emanuel, and his team including Mariapaola were so helpful and friendly. The place is spotless, the gardens gorgeous, every detail has been thought of. It's even better than shown on the website. Emanuel and his family have lovingly and so thoughtfully restored this Masseria to a beautiful place. Just the setting is amazing - the place has stunning views to Locorotondo - close enough to walk but far enough away to be quiet. It was very hot during our visit. We didn't have a car and Emanuel kindly drove us to Locorotondo (not expected but appreciated in the heat - it's only a 10-12 min walk but slightly uphill) which was so thoughtful. The pool is amazing, we swam every day, a welcome reprieve from the heat. We also hired bikes in Locorotondo and did some great rides through the area - to Cisternino, Martina Franca which were stunning and not too touristed. Locorotondo itself is a gorgeous town too. Grazie mille Emanuel and we hope to return!
