One of our favorite families activities is to eat wonderful food together. The well-appointed kitchen includes am Italian made pro-style Bertazzoni 5 burner gas range, two dishwashers so that you can get back to enjoying your family, a large fridge, lots of tools (including cocktail tools) and much more. Enjoy the Weber gas BBQ grill on the deck off the dining room (seasonally).Nested on 12 acres, the lodge was designed to enjoy the beauty of it's one-of-a-kind Baldy Mountain location including spectacular views of Lake Pend Oreille and mountain ranges beyond. Every window was strategically placed to bring the outside in- including maximizing the natural light year round from the full southern exposure perch. Take in deer, moose, wild turkeys, coyotes, bear and bird watching from hummingbirds to hawks and eagles. The beautifully landscaped yard includes a 7-person hot tub, a large gas fire put to roast smores on, horse shoe pits, a swing and plenty of room for yard games. Enjoy a walk to through the mountain forest with glades of birch, lark, pine, cedar and fir. Fall colors are breathtaking. In Winter, the snow can get 2-5' deep enabling wonderful snowshoeing (8 pairs provided) and multiple slide courses ranging from 100’ to 1/2 mile+ long (several sleds provided). We tried to take every detail into account when we designed, build and furnished this home for our family to get out of the chaos of life and create moments together. Winter guests must have 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles and be competent in driving in all weather conditions. While the shared community road and private driveway will be maintained and plowed on a regular route, snowy and icy conditions will exist, and we recommend being prepared for all driving conditions. Additionally, we have a massive outdoor table with seating for 8 people. There is also a table with 2 chairs off the master bedroom for a coffee with a view. We've got the whole crew covered!- Outdoor Kitchen: Propane grill, grilling utensils, and plenty of table top space to allow friends or family enjoy a drink while they watch someone else cook their food (now that's what I call a good time!)- Hot tub/Sauna: On the first level walkout deck with the sunset view of a lifetime!- Upper Deck: Propane gas firepit with seating for 8 on outdoor couch. Half day and full day tickets are available at a reasonable price. Rentals are also easy to come by from the Alpine Shop on the mountain. ✔ Rent a boat on Priest Lake (~35 min drive) Contact Priest Lake Marina. Ride, float and explore the beaches for the day. Lastly make a stop at Cavanaugh’s for a drink and bite to eat. The most beautiful view! ✔ Visit Coeur d’ Alene (~45 min drive) The biggest city near-by that offers an abudance of things to do! We do have a noise/smoke detector within the home that will notify us if any smoke is detected, and you will be subject to a fine if this rule is disrespected.No glass in hot tub/sauna: You will be subject to a fine if this rule is disrespected to cover additional cleaning costs. If any glass gets in the hot tub, you will be liable to cover a full drain, clean, and refill of the hot tub. Once again, this is a family-friendly home and we need to think about future guests, especially young ones.Exterior Security Cameras: Your safety matters. This property features 3 exterior security cameras: 1 camera is on the front of the home facing the front yard, 1 camera is located on the garage facing the driveway, and 1 camera is located on the back of the home facing the backyard. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces.
