Wine & Roses Hotel Restaurant Spa Lodi

Even though we live in Lodi...this is always a wonderful "stay-cation destination." The room was amazing, the view from the patio was perfect and private, the atmosphere/service at the bar and our room service were beyond spectacular! Walking around the hotel and lounging at the pool makes you feel like you aren't even in Lodi! It is always a fabulous getaway!

This is a very organized place. Everyone is super nice and you don’t have to ask for much because it’s all ready thought about for you. Everyone at the restaurant is so nice. The only Thing that is a little odd is the walk to the pool of your on the other side of the property you have to walk through the back parking lot. Unless we missed a pathway somewhere. But other than that they have everything here.

a jewel in the city, an oasis, these are terms i would use for Wine & Roses, when you enter the property it is like it's own little world, the room was large the bathroom even better and i had a small semi private patio to have coffee on. the staff were friendly and attentive. I am looking forward to a return trip

The property is breathtaking! The staff were kind, caring and professional from the time I made my reservation and throughout my stay! All my meals here in the restaurant and the cafe were all fresh, creative, 10/10 excellence! The florals on the grounds are truly special and colorful. My room with a beautiful, private balcony along with a comfortable bed, large, spa tub, and spacious bathroom were all appreciated and helped me relax! The spa - amazing service and many special amenities including tranquil grounds and house made granola. I will return!!!

Great place for relaxing and enjoying the sun. I will be going back to win and Roses again soon. The customer service is amazing and the food is well prepared. If you’re looking for something to do that is fun and relaxing, look no farther than wine and roses

The grounds are truly spectacular and a true gem of a place. It’s small and intimate which makes you feel comfortable right away. If you are looking for a place to enjoy piece quite while also being able to drink wine and have great food. If you want a spa day this is also the place to go.

This place isn’t worth all the hype. Definitely not worth the money. I bought a gift card last year and asked for a refund. Was told “no” multiple times. Once by accounting and once by the spa. Came to use the gift card today and was told there is a zero balance on the card. I had to pay for my massage that I got because no one told me they ended up refunding it after I was told I couldn’t refund it…twice... I wouldn’t have come here if I had known. The massage definitely is way over priced at $150 and wasn’t even that good. On top of that the girl kept messing up my refund when I returned products due to my new total being over $200. She charged me twice and then refunded again and charged half. Unbelievable considering it’s such a nice place. Don’t come here and don’t waste your money at the spa. I’ll never be back.

The grounds were overall very nicely done and cared for. Unfortunately the area just outside of our downstairs patio was filled with cigarette butts. Also there was a trellis that was totally bare -- sure would like it with a vine.... The dinner at the hotel was nice but really over priced. Overall a quiet and nice place to get a way from the routine... but eat somewhere else...

First and foremost I want to call out the treatment of the macaws they have on their premises. It seems to me that if you are going to be displaying animals in this way your care for them has to be 100% or else it just looks really bad. They leave all of the lights in the enclosure on all night long... we're talking very bright white fluorescent lights in addition to their heat lamp. In humans we would call that cruel and unusual, not letting someone sleep and leaving bright lights on them 24/7. Additionally one of the macaws has visible issues with feather picking and seems very stressed out. Management should really fix this issue or as I said, it just looks really bad. Otherwise, this place is OK but you would think for $400 a night you would at least get some sort of breakfast buffet outside of free coffee, given even the roadside Holiday Inn is able to manage.
