Malapascua Beach & Dive Resort

Our kids absolutely love this restaurant! We have tried many in Malapascua, but this one is without a shallow of a doubt, the best pizzeria. You would want to come back for more (we ate there 3 nights in a roll). My wife and I was walking one morning along the beach and was attracted to its old-fashioned brick oven. Standing next to brick oven is Nigel, the friendly Welsh chef-owner making pizza dough with passion. So we said, we should take the kids to try it for dinner. And we were not disappointed! The pizza are absolutely top notch, what can I say, it really makes you smile. Usually, one would comment on the sauce, the cheese, the freshness of ingredients, or in some rare case, the brick oven aroma infused into crusty dough. But here, we debated, and come to conclusion - it's love. You can taste the passion and perfection-seeking consistency in the pizza. We also tried other food including pasta, BBQ, tried chicken and prawns; all succulent. Nigel and his wife Janet (who is also one of the chef) are warm and friendly, making all the guests feel welcome. If you ever have a chance to come Diving at Malapascua (the Thresher shark experience is amazing), you will have to visit Nigel's shop and try their magical pizza.

The experiences formed in my short time in this resort is a testament to the hospitality of the resort, especially Nigel's pizza place. His presence alone radiates positive energy, with their pizzas being some of the best bites I've ever had.

I can only attest to the restaurant as I did not take the dive course here, but the pizza was amazing. Nigel, the Welsh restaurant owner, was super nice and really funny. The pizza oven was really impressive and the handmade dough was so good. The BBQ was not bad either

We only ate the fantastic pizzas made with all the love by the Welsh owner. The pizzas were a m a z i n g !! Even better than the ones in our home country Sweden. If you come to Malapascua, take the sandy beach to this place and order pizzas and the fresh fruit juices, we tried mango and pineapple. Because you are worth it! ;⁠-⁠)

No wi-fi connection in the rooms or free water or fridge or wardrobes. Breakfast costly swimming pool filthy no proper loungers no change of bedlinen unless requested the dining area was a mess would not advise staying here.

Had dinner here and popped in for drinks and snacks one afternoon as well. Nigel and his wife run the place and were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A great little place for good bbq food at night and chilling with a bit of shade, during the day.
