What you see online is not what you get! They sold us a dream! Shame on them. The hotel is not maintained at all, long grass (who knows what's lurking around in there) water damage all over ceilings in the hallways and rooms, a cracked bathtub, extremely slippery shower floor, broken shower doors, basin taps that struggle to open, extractor fan in toilet does not work, broken towels given to us to be used (how were you not ashamed to even give that to a paying guest?), house keeping didn't bother to pitch up when we asked for room cleaning, safe did not work, exposed wires at plug points, outdoor furniture was extremely dirty and the list goes on... They advertised a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, bathrobes in rooms, irons in rooms, security guard etc. and had none of that when we arrived! Not even a security guard at the gate? Basically anyone could walk in the hotel and do as they please. The receptionist didn't even bother to ask about our stay when we checked out. It's as if they know how crap their hotel is. 100% do not recommend this place!

The initial appearance of the Lombardy Boutique Hotel is quite pleasant, a sort of Tuscan / Spanish Hacienda. But then reception did not know what room to allocate, and then there was the attempt to pay again on a pre-paid reservation—eventually got to the room was quite nice, spacious and clean. No channels on the TV and no wifi, and a tiny desk to work from. Only old three-pin SA plugs, nothing to accommodate our international friends. Ah, let me get a bottle of water from the bar, haha; no chance of getting anything out of that bar. No dinner, but at least Mr D knows the location. No, no coffee in the room, only tea. No breakfast either, not even a coffee and a muffin. I guess you get what you pay for.

The first room that I was put in could not lock from the inside. When they eventually changed my room number the hotel passage was flooded. Next room I was put in was cold, no water, dirty linen. The whole facility is unkept and just needs to be closed down or sold to someone who is passionate & respects the tourism industry. Everything was a MESS.

The Place was very peaceful, I enjoyed the Mornings a lot Sunrise when you see the Animals and hear them roar. The staff was friendly rendered a service good. It was indeed a good Business stay there.
