It was great, everyone was really polite and helpful and the breakfast was amazing and delicious!

Great place to spend the night in the mountains! The hotel itself is pretty basic but the shower was hot and the breakfast plentiful - what more do you need really?? The surrounding area is absolutely stunning too. Fantastic value for money all round!

Ottimo hotel appena sotto Boca de Encumeada (480 mt). Anche il bus ferma nelle vicinanze, ma il personale dà un passaggio, se serve. Gentilissimi Le camere sono grandi, spaziose, pulite e calde. Colazione ottima, nel nostro caso eravamo solo in 5 nell'hotel quindi per ogni extra si poteva chiedere. Ex uova strapazzate, pancetta. Pancakes od altro. Si possono ordinare panini da portare via (packed lunch), state attenti con il pane. Loro scrivono SANDWICH ed è con il nostro pane bauletto. Dite che volete il pan in cassetta fatto in casa. Quello è ottimo. Cena ottima con varie scelte. Prezzi ottimi. Per l'aperitivo c'è un piccolo bar con delle birre artigianali di Madeira. Ottimi. Consiglio vivamente questo albergo!

We stayed here for just the one night on our walking holiday. What a stunning location. Our dinner was included and what an absolutely fabulous buffet selection. We sat on the terrace in the evening. Our rooms had balcony's and the beds were very comfy. Again a great breakfast selection.

I don't like writing bad reviews however I believe I should in this occasion. We stayed at this hotel many times and never had any issues apart from our stay in Dec 2023. I had the worst night sleep in this place not because of the room as it was very comfortable but because of the people who was in the room next to us. This was 1am there were children running from one room to the other like was a play area. And " assuming was their parents very drunk on that night" we could hear them vomiting on toilet and arguing with each other. I went to the reception at that time to complain , the receptionist come upstairs and said to them which room we were in and that we were complaining about them. So unprofessional!! That didn't not change anything and they just carry one with that behavior.. we couldn't sleep all night. Very early in morning we left the hotel and we will never come back again!
