Well situated and charming Only one pillow and large like the bed !!! The rest was OK.

A Unique Old Fashioned Bed and Breakfast This is a unique place. It has a lot of character and is nestled into a small town in Spain. They spoke fairly good English and were quick to respond to our requests and available at all hours. The only confusing thing we ran into was we expected a traditional continental breakfast which was what the concierge called the breakfast. However, it wasn’t. The kitchen staff served the simple breakfast and it wasn’t an all you can eat. They simply brought a drink per person, 2 small pancakes per person, a slice of sweet bread, 2 slices of bread and small packed jelly and butter. I would suggest ordering from their breakfast menu which has a better selection and is pretty decently priced. Overall, I really loved the place.

We spent a lovely 3 days in this pretty and friendly hotel. It had a real family run feel to it and we felt very well looked after. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful wide balcony with stunning mountain views. The village is very peaceful and unspoilt and made a perfect base for exploring the eastern side of the Picos de Europa.

We booked a room for three nights one month in advance asking for a superior room. The reservation came with a picture of a cozy room with balcony with chairs and table. At the arrival they gave us a little poor room with no balcony, saying that was one of their best rooms. No way to have a change. Little and old bathroom (difficult to use even alone). We had booked with breakfast and dinner, and after our complaints, we were offered different menu than other guests. We had 6 choices for dinner, and when my wife made her choice she was told it was impossible to have. We decide not to eat in the hotel the next two dinners but they charged us the same price. However, the hotel was clean.

Han sido muchísimas mis vacaciones por diferentes lugares. Jamás a Cantabria, mucho menos a Lon. Me he traído un viaje de sueño, lleno de sonidos naturales que me llevaban a mi infancia. La habitación estaba muy limpia y ha sido la primera vez que no tapo la almohada con una prenda mía. Baño limpio, colchón nuevo, madera preciosa y una ventana que se abre y descubres la naturaleza escondida y mágica del lugar. La comida en la posada ha sido brutal. Hemos comido de lujo. Hasta mi hija ha comido que eso es ya un logro. El trato del camarero que siempre tiene palabras de ánimo ha sido muy bueno. La mujer de recepción muy atenta siempre. Y los dueños, inmejorables. Una familia creo que son y de verdad que la posada es un sueño. Para quien valore lo antiguo y a la vez cuidado, es ideal. Nosotros repetimos seguro porque me llevé una colección de señoras muy bonitas con las que charlaba y paseaba por las tardes. Yo recomiendo un viaje a ese lugar de cuento!!!💖 Ya con ganas de volver a ese verde naturallll. Un auténtico placer haber pisado esa tierra. Posada Peñas Arriba!!!

Alojamiento con encanto y muy familiar para disfrutar de los picos de Europa en un entorno de naturaleza,relax y desconexión total. Sin cobertura en el pueblo pero con wifi en el alojamiento. Casa y habitaciones limpias y cómodas pero con un calor tremendo en la habitación abuhardillada del piso de arriba….se agradece que haya un ventilador pero se queda corto. Gel,champú y secador en el baño. El servicio de restaurante con productos de calidad y el desayuno completo merece mucho la pena,estaba todo riquísimo y el chico que llevaba el restaurante era súper amable.
