Upper Deck Resort - Stay and Relax at the Highest Peak Lonavala

We have had a wonderful time of two days stay in the midst of rain and engulfed by cloud and fog playing hide and seek. The management was kind to give us the cottage with very good view and also offered off season discount ! The staff and customer service were good.

Disappointing Experience Despite Premium Pricing The overall management of the Upper Deck is well below expectations. Despite spending over ₹25,000 for a night—including food and beverages—the experience was deeply underwhelming. Room service was unavailable, and the buffet was poorly managed. Replenishment was often delayed, and guests had to constantly chase the service staff for basic items. To make matters worse, the food quality was subpar—nowhere near what you'd expect at a resort positioned at this price point. Given the lack of service, poor food standards, and overall mismanagement, I would not recommend this property to anyone. A resort charging premium rates must at least deliver the basics right.

Easter lunch buffet Excellent food and service. We had a great warm and refreshing afternoon. Visvaraj gave us great cate and so did Henna who took ourbooking and answered all our queries. Thanks again and all the best to the entire team. Happy Easter.

The resort is just average. The approach road is broken and needs serious repairs. Within the resort, the staff is good but needs to become more courteous and elucidate warmth. The guests are there to have a good time. It would be great if there are some evening activities for children and adults

Place very much in the interior w/o any signs for guidance ***** the extremely rough and narrow driveway. Accommodation is excellent with superb amenities but the food (buffet) is very expensive. Staff needs training and food pricing needs to be looked into.

We visited the resort in Feb 2025, booked a cottage with partial mountain view. We came via train from Mumbai, and auto from Lonavala station. While returning, called the same auto driver and he dropped at Neeta Inn where we had booked a Neeta bus. Pros: - Great view from the resort - Well planned layout, with greenery and pool - Courteous staff Cons: - Food is costly, and quantity per dish is less (in a la carte) - Time taken to serve the dish is high - No wifi
