The first room we were given had a disgusting musty smell that hit you as soon as you walked in. Luckily we had an early check-in so it was possible to get a different room. This room had sealed windows, COMPLETELY SEALED, but we thought it would be ok because of the air conditioning. Wrong. Late that night we discovered the air-con wasn't working. It was stuck at 24 degrees and we tossed and turned for the night. The sealed windows had condensation from the inside, which would explain the musty smell in the first room. We complained the next morning to the over-worked receptionist/breakfast staff and were advised to raise the issue online as there was no manager on duty. We did and despite following the protocol, the good night guarantee has been refused. What a scam. Don't offer such a guarantee if you're not going to honour it. Never again.
