Travelodge London Excel Hotel recensioner

Very good location for visiting Excel London, very basic room, no fridge in the room. Food were not great my husband was poorly after had meatball dish, so he wasn't sleep all night. I don't want to complain just for your information. Breakfast is OK, staff morning shift very helpful and service mind if compare with the lady night shift.

Nice room, comfy bed, break ok

For a budget hotel like this, I think it’s acceptable. You can’t expect any high quality food or good amenities coz this is what it’s designed for.

Considering the price paid (326 gbp for a two night stay) I did expect NOT to have to pay for both parking and WIFI! The room was ok but was on ground level and so having the curtains open was not an option and it was noisy late at night and early in the morning as customers arrived and left the hotel. We won't be staying again.

There's no indication that there's no aircon in the rooms, until i read reviews on tripadvisor. Im here in the summer, and the room is really warm at night. The window gap is small theres no way the breeze outside can penetrate much into the room. I woke up several times at night due to the heat. Terrible stay. No microwave oven to heat up food, n cafe is close n i had to go to holiday inn to buy breakfast every morning. What a shame. Also, i got bugs bite at night too. A very basic hotel.

I have stayed in a Premier Inn Plus room and nothing has topped that room since. However, due to budget restrictions, I stayed in this travelodge. I have stayed in other's before, so I thought I'd give this one a go. The room was okay, it was decent for me staying there for 2 nights. The bathroom was small but clean. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the room doesn't have air conditioning. So, if it was hot outside I would've been sweating buckets in the room! But apart from that, it is decent. I would stay again if I had budget restrictions and needed somewhere reasonable to stay.

I stayed at this hotel during a recent trip to London, and unfortunately, it was a truly dreadful experience from start to finish. On the first night, I was given a dirty room with an unclean bed and used towels from previous guests still present. Despite requesting housekeeping, the room was not cleaned until the following day. I only found out late at night that the bed hadn’t been made, which was unacceptable. After much insistence, the bed linens were eventually changed. The hotel advertises free Wi-Fi, but this turned out to be misleading, the connection was only free for one day. After that, you are expected to pay a high fee just to access the internet for a few hours. This kind of deceptive practice is extremely disappointing. The bathroom had several issues: both the shower and the sinks were clogged, causing water to pool every time they were used. Additionally, the soap and shower gel dispensers were broken, making them completely unusable. There was also water leakage in the restaurant where guests were dining, and several of my colleagues' rooms were flooded due to the same issue. Overall, this hotel was a major letdown. The cleanliness, service, and facilities were all far below acceptable standards. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere when booking accommodation in London.

Good and nice hotel. Good location. Price smart. I like parking when is having hotel. Food is good in price value

We stayed here for a work event. Perfect location, within walking distance to ExCel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant/bar area was welcoming and the food hit the spot. The Reception team were so friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. I would like to thank Ashley, CJ, Roy and Eloi for being so great! Thanks again and we’ll see you again!
