Wombat's City Hostel London

Compared to other hostel i have stayed , this is really bad, location is far away from station. Staffs are not helpful and friendly at all, most of them dont smile and put on a cold face. i come earlier to store luggage they ask me to go luggage room myself, never even try to guide me which way, and i have a heavy luggage, they expect me to carry it and walk down by stair with that luggage, until i ask for help, they finally borrow me a card to use lift. have to put on bed cover and duvet cover myself which is quite heavy to do, so tired already i just want to rest and i still have to do the hard work, dont know why i pay to service myself. The trash bin in the room is full and they dont clear it for a day. Very bad experience especially after i have just enjoyed other hostel with friendlier staff and attitude. Not recommended and i wont book here again.

The shared accommodation is well priced when you consider the bar downstairs in the vaults is absolutely banging. I had a socket to charge my phone. Only downside was top bunk so ladder was extremely difficult to use safely. The ladder was bare metal and right in the far corner of the the bunk structure. Be careful if you aren’t that dexterous.

We liked everything about this hostel. We especially liked the nice location close to the tube, and it had privacy curtains on the beds and air conditioning and safety boxes right next to each bunkbed.
