Hyde Park Apartments 11-13 Inverness Terrace

Beautiful building, well looked after common areas, great location, quiet area, great staff, quick response, able to use all the facilities in the room and regulate heating. Ideal for a break away to see shows and sites of London. Comfortable nights sleep, for someone who struggles in foreign beds is a great plus.

We stayed in one of the 5 bed studios. It was clean enough and warm enough. There were the necessary facilities: fridge, kettle, microwave, cooking hob, small ensuite with shower. We were on the ground floor so with the blinds open it did feel a bit like we had no privacy. I would recommend they get some different curtains/blinds if the renovate - the windows are really tall so it would be great if they had something to block the view at people height, but could still let in the light from above when it’s a bit lighter. There was also a window with a big crack in it that could do with repairing. The room was in a really good location, very convenient for 2 different underground stations in the next street, right at the entrance of Hyde Park, there were also lots of bus stops at the end of the street. It was a nice quiet street, and the next street had lots of restaurants and shops. There’s also a lovely pub called the Leinster Arms a couple of streets away. We organised parking in advance at the Thistle hotel in the next street which was nice and convenient too.

Poorly laid out basement for 3 had to climb over, to get into bed If double and singled beds swapped this would solved. Edite? one step better than backpackers. Locked public bathroom toilet roll holders making it difficult to sit on toilet.

Great location, price was good for London, everything nearby, staff were helpful One negative- you have to be on site for the cleaners to come in so bins not emptied, I'm sure they would have come if we requested them but we kept missing them when we were out and about

Extremely small room for family. Room and bathroom very dirty, the pillowcases and duvet covers were torn,plates, cutlery, kettle etc were filthy. Floor very dirty!! My feet were black from walking on the floor barefoot. Plenty of long and short hairs on the beds, it looked disgusting.It wasn’t clean after last guests. They gave us cloths to clean the room and bathroom ourselves.Whatever we touched was dirty, dusty, sticky and look bad. I regret that I started taking photos when some of the things were already cleaned up. Unfortunately, the photos don't show exactly how bad it looked in reality . I paid for a room that I had to clean myself, and the first night we had to sleep on towels on the beds until the sheets were changed the next day after first complaint .!!!!!!!! There is no possibility to meet manager or talk to manager, I insisted several times to meet manager.Personel refused to give me contact to manager. Every day I was given a different name of the manager, One day I was told it was a woman and the next day it was a man and finally it turned out that these people did not exist at all.! It was a real nightmare.!!!! Nothing can return my stress, dissatisfaction and disappointment.!

Il est rare que je laisse des avis négatifs mais je n'ai jamais vécu ça. Une seule nuit qui a été un cauchemar. Avis rédigé ppur le MSK au numéro 11/13 de la rue. ( il s'agit du même groupe) Nous avons réservé une chambre supérieure et qu'elle ne fut pas notre mésaventure. On avait demandé un étage supérieure à la réservation. La chambre était petite, la literie mauvaise et le comble pas de chauffage en plein hiver ! La salle d'eau qui n'est pas une salle de bains est minuscule. Peu de rangement. Simple vitrage. Aucune vue et PAS DE CHAUFFAGE !!! Nous l'avons signalé à notre arrivée, on nous maintient qu'il fonctionne. Puis après vérification, ils admettent que cette chambre ainsi que sa salle de bains n'ont pas de chauffage. Or , il fait 1 degrés dehors, et la chambre est gelée. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, cela nous a été refusé. On nous a apporté un mini chauffage d'appoint bruyant qui ne servait à rien. Nous étions avec un jeune enfant et ça n'a posé problème à personne qu'on ait eu froid toute la nuit. Nous avons même doublé les couches de nos vêtements ! Après une journée à visiter la ville, est ce trop demandé pour avoir du confort ? On n' a pas pu dormir de toute la nuit car l'air froid passait par la porte , la fenêtre et par les vmc. Nous avions croisé du personnel qui nous ont confirmé que cette chambre n à jamais eu de chauffage et que nous n'étions pas les premiers à s'en plaindre . On a attendu le petit matin pour se réfugier dans un café du quartier pour avoir chaud avec notre enfant ! 200 € pour une chambre sans chauffage, chambre non isolé du bruit et du froid !!! Ce problème est connu et ils osent installé des clients dans cette chambre là. Rien n'est fait pour le résoudre cette aberration, un scandale. Nous n'avons eu ni excuse, ni solution et encore moins un dédommagement quelqueconque. Si je peux éviter à d autres personnes de vivre cela, j 'espère que cette avis vous évitera cette fâcheuse mésaventure.
