This was my first ever hostel stay. It was everything I could've dreamed of and more. The people are what really make this place. It is intimate, so you get to know most travellers and staff quickly, and what amazing people they are. They have tours organized to take people around the big tourist destinations and visit a different bar/club every night of the week. I had so much fun, I hope to be back soon. Beds were comfortable, clean, and there's a shared area with cupboards and fridges for guests to use and store food/drinks in. The free dinners were always delicious and satisfying.

digusting hostel, very druggie atmosphere, and refused to refund is... place smells and staff look unclean and unkept, very small and unhygienic environment. loud noisy, very rude staff... and odd but they dont employ any British staff.....

Onefam Notting Hill is located in a great neighborhood, with plenty of spots to eat and drink. The staff was friendly and helpful, happy to help accommodate us with plenty of organized activities for those who are interested. The room was great for one quick night.

We got our booking cancelled on our way go the hostel. We received a message a few minutes before our booking starts saying they could not host us because of a bed bug infection. As we were on our way to the hostel we decided anyway to go there to see what happened. When we got there we found out by other guests that the immigration department had a massive operation in the area and they arrested all the staff because they were working with no VISA. How on earth is that possible? They lied about the situation and left us literally with nowhere to stay. We had to book another place to stay and we paid a lot more because it was a last-minute booking. We are still waiting for refound.

Do not stay here if you want to do activities with the hostel. I made the mistake of playing drinking games with them and trusting their employee who took us to a club miles away from the hostel to be responsible for the group. I was left at the club, with a dead phone and too drunk to find my way back, with all the trains closed. Had to spend the night on the street. Also, the rooms are tiny, you can hardly sit down in the bathrooms if you are tall, the wifi hardly works, and their showers have athlete's foot. The overwhelming positive reviews seem very faked after staying there and observing the stark difference.

This is one of the best and most helpful hostels I've been to. Once you sign up, whoever is at reception (morning, noon or night) will send WhatsApp messages about what to do, group outings and how to get back safely. Plus, they'd also make dinners or have snacks on offer depending on the day. Also, Vik was one of the best volunteers - needs to improve his chess game, but he sure can make a curry that didn't roast me alive. The Irish Guy 😁🇮🇪

Highly recommend this hostel!! Great facilities, but what separates it from the rest is the staff. They’re very nice, fun and knowledgeable. They create a fun loving culture and seem to enjoy what they do. Huge shoutout to one of the volunteers, Jo, who cooks an amazing pesto pasta (one of the FREE dinners) and made me feel super welcomed and relaxed. Truly an unforgettable experience :)
