Gorgeously decorated room with very comfy bed. Generous in size by London standards. Very friendly staff and great location in a wonderful part of town. Easy access to Hyde park or central London from nearby tube station. Only point to note are the steep staircase which may not work for some travellers

My friend and I stayed here for one night, we wished it was for longer. We were welcomed by George and after a drink in the bar, he took us to our room. The staircase is narrow and steep and we were on the top floor and George offered to carry our bags. The room was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the range of complimentary items was great, dressing robes, slippers, snacks, water, a range of teas and coffees. There’s even a small fridge tucked away in the wardrobe. The en-suite is spacious with a bath and a shower and yet more complimentary items. The room was spotless and it was obvious that the hosts make every effort to make the room luxurious. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

I wanted to stay in the guest rooms but that didn’t work out, so we had lunch there instead. Lunch was delicious and a good deal, and the staff went above and beyond for me later that afternoon when I discovered that I’d lost my phone (I’d accidentally left it near our table). Their kindness was much appreciated! The Hayden is an adorable pub with good food and decent prices, and I still hope to stay there someday.

We spent the weekend in a 5 star hotel by Hyde Park, and our flight home was cancelled last minute. We then booked train tickets home to Scotland, which were also then cancelled so we booked a room at the Hayden in Notting Hill. It’s a pub with rooms, but was much better than the 5 star hotel. It’s beautiful, immaculate, tasteful, friendly, clean, cosy, welcoming and everything the hotel wasn’t. We had an amazing time, the staff are so nice and the food, wow. Absolutely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed and I would highly recommend to everyone. Loved it!

I can’t say enough good things about this little place. Charming, welcoming, wonderful. within walking distance of four underground stops and buses run on the street. We could also walk to the Portobello market! The personal touch is what sets this apart. When you arrive you are immediately offered a drink or coffee and welcomed! Leonardo is a gem - such a warm person and he and his staff always checking to make sure we have everything we need. Stop scrolling and book this charming place near tons of cafes and restaurants. You won’t regret it!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hayden! The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! The staff were very helpful, offering to hold our luggage since we had arrived early, and offered a free drink while we waited for the room to be cleaned. The shower was great but we did have some trouble figuring out how the various knobs worked so a quick guide would be helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed in the Rooms for nine days, a solo female from USA, on my vacation. I felt very safe. The clientele is of upper class and it is not a rowdy pub where people hang out and drink all night The staff were very attentive to all my needs. The room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and I was able to control the temperature. There isn’t an elevator, but the stairs are manageable. Many other restaurants and shops close by. The food and drinks at the pub was delicious. I would absolutely stay again. The chocolate bars, granola bar, cookies, and fresh bottled waters were a sweet plus. Highly recommend.

Had lunch yesterday with some friends who were visiting London from overseas. This was our first visit to The Hayden. The food was excellent, the service was great and the staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Will definitely be going back.

We were looking forward to visit The Hayden, and after a long travel that took longer than planned we were quite hungry. Even though we arrived late for our tableresetvation, the service was really good! The food is tasty(!) and served in good portions. Perfect location, nice staff, music and atmosphere.
