Restaurant Chino-Latino Review This review is specifically for 3 very special people in the Chino-Latino restaurant - Anushkau (Night hostess/mgr), Maria most wonderful server & Chef Gabyel whose food was not only delicious but works of art. Our first evening we met Maria in the bar and had a lovely & lively chat as Maria infused us with her natural friendliness. Anushkau picked up on that when we moved over to the dining room for dinner. During ordering and regular chitchat w/Anoushkau we mentioned it was our 20th wedding anniversary and she said please come back on our actual anniversary (2 days later) and spend it there at the restaurant again promising a special evening. It did not disappoint - and in the end literally brought me to tears. Anoushkau had allowed for us to come at any time that evening and we came at 8:00 to a reserved table by the window with a lovely view overlooking the river Thames. After an incredible dinner of california roll w/ a fabulous sauce and exquisite roe (which I'm rarely a fan of, but this I loved) and perfect tempura green beans, followed by Beef shortrib and hot rock sirloin steak both cooked to perfection. We sat for a few minutes listening to the marvelous pianist and singer singing continuing a wonderful set of love songs and 60-70’s hits when we surprised with a complimentary dessert and not just any dessert but their outrageous dessert sampler with sign and candle celebrating our 20th - it was then that the hospitality and thoughtfulness of these 2 wonderful people along with the kindness and talent of Chef Gabrel that brought me to tears. Anoushkau, Maria & Chef Gabrel deserve so much more than our thanks but that is up to you their management, which I also want to thank for giving them the flexibility to allow them to do things like this. I am hoping you will recognize the wonderful talent you have in these 3 exceptional people. Thank you again for making our anniversary SO special. People underestimate the little things they can done that can mean SO much. We will come back to the Park Plaza next time we come to London in a big part because of what they did.

What can I say…Khaldoon and team you are all amazing! Your commitment to unrivalled customer is outstanding - easily the best in London! Thank you for another incredible stay - amazing room, fantastic service and awesome food and drinks in the exec lounge with the best views in the city! Can’t wait to return

I popped in for a quick pint and ended staying for a few cold pints followed by the best Espresso Martini I had in years. The bartenders are amazing skilled mixologists and friendly to chat with. I made it a point to stop in and get a drink from Pablo. It’s a must stop!

Excellent customer service!, and my Bailey’s Martini was the bomb, I never had a drink like this before and it was delicious! The live music was nice as well, we truly enjoyed ourselves! This is our first trip to the UK and yes we will be back!!!!!

Shout out to Sathesh who moved us from the 3rd floor to the 10th floor with amazing views of the river. So far so good- excellent service, clean and comfortable. Friendly people. Spacious with lots of room to put things away after living out of our suitcases for three weeks!

My name is Alimamy Mansaray and room 914. I just wanted to say for park plaza crews are outstanding, especially Evelyn and Anushka were very very helpful today and every day when ever I go restaurant for dinner. This is why I keep coming here when ever I take a vacation.

Really lovely restaurant that had been on my list for a while. The ambiance was quite intimate and it too loud either. Karim was amazing and really attentive to our table. The food was so good and you could taste the quality. I think some of the staff had overheard me say it was my birthday the day before and brought me a cute Happy Birthday dessert. Great service, great food and would definitely return.

The best stay ever . The view from our room was fantastic and breathtaking. The staff was so helpful specially Mr. Julian . Whoever wants to stay in the hotel , trust me u won’t regret . Also best English breakfast . Best location in central London almost 10 mins walking distance to major tourist attractions

A few hits and misses. Hits; - Great location. Only a short walk to Big Ben. Not quite as close as the other Park Plaza but the cost reflects this so we didn’t mind this at all. - Service was great, staff were accommodating and welcoming (all staff were came into contact with were great). - Rooms were a decent size. Comfy bed and the 5yo said the sofa bed was comfy. - Clean and well maintained - The room was too hot for us on arrival (we like a cold bedroom - I appreciate we are in the minority on this) but the air con worked really quickly when we set the temperature we like - Enjoyed breakfast, though some items ran out as it was ending, which would be annoying if you went towards the end - Not pretentious at all and very family friendly (we had a 5yo and 1yo). Misses; - Nice coffee machine in room with a description of different coffee pods, but only decaf pods provided so we ended up just making instant which is a shame - No slippers in room (only in spa) - I had a shower in the spa after my swim then noticed the products available were, ‘conditioner’ and ‘hand lotion’, which weren’t exactly what I needed to wash with after a sauna. Overall, based on our stay, I’d be more than happy to return / recommend to a friend. Just a few attention to details that could easily be addressed.
